Hell of a daggar for that program. And a big get for Stubblefield, DePaul and the BEast by extension. Were his staff to pull that program out of the basement’s basement, they’ll write books about it. So happy for the Big East that we keep getting the best coaches. I just pray that Patrick can get a tie in with one of the local high school coaches so we can establish our local pipeline to the locals.

Hell of a daggar for that program. They don't let him go unless they know they can replace him. They decided not to pay him.

They have no idea what they just lost, he owned B'More (Smith & Morsell) and was instrumental in every other big recruit (Stone, Carter, Mitchell etc) they picked up. Apparently, he was also the lead on most DMV kids in the upcoming classes. Their loss and not losing sleep over it. Depaul got a good one. Like mentioned earlier, it makes the BEast stronger.

Turgeon must know.
And this does not help Georgetown.

"This does not help Georgetown"?...I would think it might, especially with the loss of such a key recruiter, particularly in the Baltimore area and elsewhere where he's had success...

Well, it doesn't help Georgetown if Ranson establishes a DMV pipeline of talent to DePaul that may have considered staying home. If we hypothesize that DMV talent that would otherwise go to MD because they want to stay local opt for the Hoyas instead, it may be helpful but I don't necessarily see that would have occurred.

Oh he's a great recruiter, no question. Just saying they don't let him go for a pay raise if they don't think they can replace him. It's a great hire for DePaul.
