RIP Rabbit indeed. He could have come to Georgetown, but they didn't recruit him (because of his race???), so he had to go all across the country to the small Jesuit school of Seattle. Scored 57 points in one of the NCAA games. Great player.

Elgin Baylor passed away today. Some great Elgin Baylor stories in I Came as a Shadow. DC Legend. RIP Rabbit. Now I have two reasons to get the book. As a young boy, I became a Laker fan from the first day they moved to LA, and Elgin was my favorite player, soon to be joined by Mr. Clutch, aka The Logo. He was Dr. J before Dr. J.

Yes, get the book. You'll see that JT2 was a bigger fan than you as a young boy of Elgin.

I read the book when it first came out. It's such a shame that Big John didn't live long enough to do the audiobook himself. I'd have loved to have listened to it again. Regardless, it's a great read/listen for any Hoya fan and a steal at 10 times the price of the audiobook.
