I think the answer is quite simple why Reggie Williams was omitted. The short answer is relevancy. You and I may have very fond and vivid memories of Williams. However, to today's youth, and perhaps to whoever created the shirt, Williams is not well-known like Ewing, Grahm, Mutombo, Mourning, Iverson, Green, Porter, etc. Yes, but Duren and Floyd are deeper pulls than Reggie. Williams should be on that shirt along with Big Sky imho. Was thinking the same thing. How is Duren included, and his HS, GU and AA running mate Shelton left off? Reggie Williams is easily in the All Time TOP 5 Hoyas. #1 ranked HS player. Leading scorer -- as a FRESHMAN, in our only National Championship game victory. He also led the post-Ewing team to the Elite Eight almost single-handedly. Team was known as "Reggie and the Miracles". # 4 NBA draft pick. #3 Career Points at GU #5 Career Rebounds #6 Career steals I get the point.. too many names detracts, but... One more point, those ampersands don't add anything but clutter. NIce idea though... keep the Hoya History at the forefront.

Reggie over Duren for sure. Reggie was a national star in college but faded quickly in the pros. Sleepy was an nba all star. Reggie had a ten year NBA career and scored over 7,500 points True, after being drafted by the woeful Clippers, his NBA career did not live up to expectations. But I would disagree with the description "faded quickly".

It's a shirt that is relevant to kids today. That simple. I'm not sure why Duren is there instead of Williams but Id get both being left off since your average millenial doesn't know who either of them were. Not sure why people are out here pretending like it was intentional or malicious or something.

Not to make light of the situation, especially seeing how riled up my number one Hoya, Michael Grahm was about it, but we just need someone to design another shirt that includes all of the Hoya legends.
The great take away and positive, for me, is that we have such a long list of accomplished players who have contributed to the history and legacy of Georgetown basketball.
I hope it was not done to slight anyone.

They made a shirt that students of today could appreciate. If anything its stranger that they left off Greg Monroe since he's at least recent.

Thanks LC. In case there was any doubt this old guy would never be considered cool, the following quote from one of your links should totally confirm it: QuoteUsually white on black, with lots of ampersands. They work like cultural shibboleths—if you get the reference, you and the T-shirt wearer are automatically cool with each other. These kinds of T-shirts have been popping up everywhere lately Now get off my lawn!

Only HT could take an innocent photo of a kid in a t shirt and turn it into a travesty of some sort. Lord help us if Grayson Carter had been wearing the shirt.

Coming out of college there was a debate between my UCLA buddies and I as to which Reggie was better ...Williams or Miller. One ended up in the HOF and the other was somewhat of a journeyman. From that perspective and based on where he was drafted I think most would say that he had somewhat of a disappointing nba career.

Let's not forget the third Reggie drafted in Round 1 that year, Reggie Lewis, RIP. Reggie Lewis was a HS Teammate of Williams and WIngate at Balto-Dunbar, and a budding star with the Celtics when his heart gave out. As for Reggie Miller, I'd bet even your UCLA buddies would not have predicted the heights he achieved in his career. You know what I think B&G? I think Patrick is going to have some kids of his own who will reach the NBA and have major careers. It's just a matter of time. HOYA SAXA!
