From what I’ve heard, staff has been in contact with Marcus’ family...and as a few days ago...Marcus was back in his hometown ...not sure if he’s with family or not. During the attack he sustained a pretty bad head injury....a baseball bat was involved. I just don’t get how charges were dropped. Admittedly, I don’t know much more other than this.
Whatever the case, I’ve always known MD to be a gentle, hardworking and kind young man.

Yeah I don't know how charges are dropped when you've been beaten down by 3 guys with weapons like a baseball bat and frying pan in your own home. What is this, 1920's Al Capone Chicago?

You may consider the possibility that sadly justice is not equally available to all.

Plus he has some nice bank so should be able to hire some good lawyers. Sounds like the people who beat him up were people he knew well and were "friends" before the incident.

To my fellow Gtown family let pray for Marcus, his fiancée, unborn baby and family during this horrific time.

So now you are suggesting a civil vs criminal approach - completely different. I think you significantly underestimate the cost of pursuing litigation and probably overestimate the assets a 2nd year player with a 2 way contract has.

I see at the bottom of the scroll on that story that Latavious Williams also signed to play in Korea.
