Now that is a solid source (that is the Warriors official channel). If McKinnie has a two year deal then McCaw is out and they are not waiting and there is still the open 2-way. Still no word on Derrickson, nor the 2-way.

Hopefully, they are working on completing the paperwork with agent/lawyers before announcing a two-way contract for MD.

SAN JOSE — The Warriors will sign Marcus Derrickson to their second and final two-way contract, head coach Steve Kerr said after Friday night’s preseason loss to the Lakers. Derrickson joins Damion Lee as the Warriors’ two players on two-way contracts. Under the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement, players on two-way deals can spend up to 45 days with their respective NBA team and the rest of their season with a G League affiliate. Anyone on a two-way contract will make $75,000 in the G-League and a prorated portion of the NBA rookie minimum salary for any days with the big club. www.sfchronicle.com/warriors/article/Marcus-Derrickson-to-sign-2-way-contract-with-13304388.php

Well deserved, Marcus has worked his butt off for this. Hope he will get some minutes to show he can contribute.

Awesome! Shirt to the Wall! Just one more step. Hopefully, he will convert the opportunity like Quinn Cook.

This is amazing news! It just goes to show how hard Marcus worked to get there. He beat out 3 guys and was on nobody's radar until summer league. Hopefully this is just a step! Congratulations Marcus!

I admit that I didn’t think he would ever make the league. He transformed his body and it made a world of difference. So amazed and happy for him.

League rules were modified this year to allow two-way players to have even more time up with their parent team. This should work well for Derrickson.
