Very happy for Marcus. Great job. I have to give credit where it is due. When Marcus declared, and hired an agent, I thought he had made a mistake and that he would likely end up playing in Europe because his NBA prospects were going to be limited. He put the work in and bet on himself and that bet has paid off for him. I still wish he was suiting up for the Hoyas this season, but I could not be happier for the young man that he is realizing his dream. Good luck Marcus, the Georgetown family is wishing you the best.

The Warriors last year had Cook at many games watching. I'm not sure how it counts for games and extra pay. It sort of falls into a grey area as traveling to the team and with the team would count for paying him, which would be good for him, but adds to the Warriors tax bill to the league. Aside from that I really like how they keep their top G-League players close.
Draymond has been looking like he needs more rest and healing so having Markus close at had and familiar to fill in depth is good for all there.

He's been behind the bench for all the games but I didn't see him opening night. Great exposure for him to spend time with these guys.

Took some friends to eat at FOGO De Chao in DTLA. Guess who was sitting at the table across from us? Small world... Did you say hi?! Yes, but just briefly I wasn't trying to disturb them. I Just shook his hand and told him to keep up the good work.. One of the waiters knew who he was also which was interesting. Apparently he was a fan of the Hoyas also.

Jersey going up on wall now? Is active roster enough or does he have to actually get in the game?

Jersey going up on wall now? Is active roster enough or does he have to actually get in the game? According to the rumors, a player needs a guaranteed contract (or play after JT2 was hired). That’s why Chris Wright isn’t up on the wall (along with many others before DFW corrects me).

I remember him having a layup during garbage time.

Just one or two ten day contracts which aren’t guaranteed.

Agreed - but you posted “or play after JT2 was hired.” That was a reference to the fact that no Hoyas that played in the NBA pre JT2 are on the wall. So to be on the wall you had to 1. Play for the Hoyas after JT2 was hired and 2. Get a guaranteed contract in the NBA.
