Dan, what do the stars and colors mean? The quality of your posts. Just kidding - designates your level, based on number of posts.

Keep limiting the turnovers. Will be a tough game, but if we take good shots we can be right in it.

Obviously this is the true test. A home game against one of the best teams in the BE. I'm afraid we will play well and lose again in the last 5 minutes. I'd rather get blown out than keep losing close games. It just keeps us hanging on to the false hope that we might actually be a tourney (NIT?) team this year.

Lol as i said BEFORE the Depaul game...under 15 turnovers we'll win. That's the blueprint.

If we lose, we lose. I'm going in to every game thinking that on any given day, with our best effort, we can win. We have a competitive team, and they can grow/develop significantly game to game.

If any combination of Blair, Pickett, Mosely and Johnson can contribute in a meaningful way offensively, I like our chances.

And while we can't guarantee big contributions from any of them on a particular night, we still know that one or two of them might drop 10-12 points to support Doc and Jessie. It is just nice to have options.

It will be a great test. I think Creighton is the best team we have played so far and their strengths match-up well for them to score at will against us. They play a lot of guards and hit their three’s at a high clip. They are comfortable playing fast so our tempo won’t throw them off. I think our only shot is to work the paint relentlessly, keep driving to the hoop and then hope to make more free throws. If we get into a 3 pt shootIng contest with them we will lose.

Look this team is not going to the NCAA tourney unless we play super lights out so just enjoy the improvements of players. Makes it easier to take. I like it in this situation to keep games close means the team has not given up.

Play loose, play hard, have fun, and let it fly. Hoyas can win this game but it will be a battle.

Averaging 5.9 minutes a game last year, many Creighton fans were worried about sophomore forward Martin Krampelj seeing a vast increase in floor time. Through the first 15 games of the season, Krampelj has been everything Bluejay fans could have asked for, and then some.
After putting up a little under 3 points per game last season, Krampelji has improved that statistic to 12.6 points a contest and is grabbing 7.8 rebounds to make his impact that much more significant on the floor. By no means is Krampelj an NBA prospect, but he does all the little things necessary to win ball games.
“I might not have played as much last year, but I was playing against Big East dudes like Justin Patton in practice,” Krampelj said following the Bluejays 90-84 loss against Seton Hall on Dec. 28. “Now the lights are on.”Ronnie Harrell has also been playing very well this season, he's a matchup nightmare defensively plus he's starting to hit 3's consistently.. www.omaha.com/creighton/mens-basketball/unselfish-mentality-has-creighton-playing-and-winning-together/article_77857056-e82e-11e7-a966-233a18eb768b.htmlUnselfishness appears to be a defining trait of this group. It’s evident in the Jays’ assist numbers — only two teams in the country are averaging more than Creighton’s 20.0 per game, which puts this CU squad on pace to break a 28-year-old single-season school record.

Creighton played a tough game last vs. St. John's, but let's beat them while they're on the road! Go Hoyas!

Play loose, play hard, have fun, and let it fly. Hoyas can win this game but it will be a battle. This should be a tough and interesting game for the team and the coaching staff. I think one of the strengths that Ewing brings to the table from his NBA experience is his ability to game plan for upcoming games against teams with specific strengths and weaknesses. The NBA game really focuses on match up opportunities from game to game and I am hopefully that Ewing brings that expertise to the Georgetown program. Creighton plays at a really fast pace and can go on some impressive runs and finding a way to slow them down and limit those 10-0 type runs will be important to make this a competitive game. While their offense is very impressive, their defense is not great and the easiest way to slow them down is make them take the ball out of the bottom of the hoop more often than running off rebounds and/or turnovers. Live ball turnovers against these guys will be killers and could turn this game into a blow out. Hopefully Coach Ewing will come up with a game plan the guys can execute that plays the game at a pace that gives the Hoyas a chance to win.

Creighton runs very well off of makes, last night I watched them score a few times off of St. John's scores.. After this Simon dunk, Foster got a layup less than 4 seconds later.. An announcer for their game against Seton Hall said McDermott told him this team was a little faster than last season because they push the ball thru the pass as opposed to last season with Watson.. McDermott said they made that a point of emphasis in the off-season for the retuning players.. The Gtown staff has to emphasize getting back in transition more than ever for this game..

Yes, I watched them last night as well. It was a very physical game. The Hoyas will have to get back on defense rather quickly and guard the perimeter. Hmmm, will they? I hope so. Communication is a key factor as well.
