Saw this article that said a New Zealand team would be playing a preseason game vs the Phoenix Suns and was hoping it was LJ's team. Unfortunately it's the only real pro team from New Zealand, that actually plays in the Australian league. I know he probably went for comfort of playing for Braswell and a paycheck but LJ needs to get out of the NBL if he wants any real hope at exposure. At least go to the ANBL. www.nzherald.co.nz/basketball/news/article.cfm?c_id=21&objectid=12078236

LJ looks yoked. What I loathe most about the current NBA is that guys don't get enough looks. A team like the Knicks should be watching tape of every guy on every summer league and international squad and giving looks/shots to any and all guys that have even a small chance of making the roster. A guy like LJ could come off the bench right now for the lowly, depressing, gut-wrenching, soul-sucking Knicks. At least if they were doing everything they could to improve, I'd have a reason to watch outside of the one that I use which is that I'm both stubborn and stupid. I don't agree with this. NBA has signed guys who have played all over the world. Guys who have to try out just for a G League Training Camp invite have made it to the league. Tons of international guys in the league.

And Google translate says... A.S. Pistoia Basket 2000 announces that, today, an annual agreement has been reached with the US player L.J. Peak. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, on February 2, 1996, Peak is a very talented 196cm by 98kg wing, produced by Georgetown University. With the Hoyas he has played three seasons in the NCAA, earning the convocation in the U19 national team with which, in 2015, he graduates world class champion. In his years in Georgetown, it is highlighted on several occasions: in November 2014 marks 23 points against St.Francis in his debut in NCAA (record in the history of the University), in March of 2016 trims 31 points to future champions of Villanova and January 25th 2017 over 1,000 points in Georgetown colors in just over two years. Concluded the collegiate career (16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his third and final season), dispute the 2017 Summer League with the Houston Rockets. He then took part in the Boston Celtics training camp in September, to sign, in October, with the Maine Red Claws franchise, in the G-League. In 46 games with the "lobsters" he scores 12 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists of average per game, before signing, in April, with the Wellington Saints, in New Zealand. After dominating the regular season of NBL (the highest New Zealand championship, in which he scored 19.1 points and almost 4 rebounds in the average race), will be busy next weekend in the Final Four that will decide the winners of the event. "He's a young boy," said coach Ramagli, commenting on the engagement of Peak, "which in all respects can be called an all-around: he has the ability to manage the ball of an outside, but the physical and characteristics of a player who can scroll in the wing positions. It is a very modern player and very European from a certain point of view, which closely resembles several elements that in Italy have recently done well, extremely flexible, with an important body and that comes from a prestigious college A year ago it touched the skies with a finger, entering the NBA orbit, then instead it lived a different season from the one that maybe imagined, definitely challenging and long, since it still has not ended. concluded Ramagli- a boy with important potentialities, who must make a change in his basketball life, at least in terms of exposure, given his collegial premises Pistoia and Italy can represent for him the tramp olino launch for a career that, at least at European level, could prove important "

I hope he enjoys Tuscany.
