Of course they always have that right. I never wish any negatives on kids that transfer - I just don't care one way or the other once they are gone, just like I would not care how they did if they had picked some other school in the first place.
But it is awfully hard to blame any kid who flew the coop after the last 2 seasons we had, not only the records, but the atmosphere, uncertainty, etc.

Recognize some of those names on twitter that they used to punctuate the social media beating he was taken. The Copeland love among Hoya fans for awhile was almost Jeff Green or Otto Porter level. Then it went crashing down. Seeing this story makes me happy for the kid.

This is just another example of how little fans really know about what is going on behind the scenes. Typically, at this stage of the season everyone has some ailment but some are definitely more serious and difficult to play through than others.

Well, that explains a lot. Wish the best to him.

Doesn't really seem like anything new. We already knew he had surgery on his back after he was shutdown for his junior season. that still doesn't explain the regression he had during his sophomore season. what's interesting is that his fg% is really high this year 53% and 62% from two. His 3pt% has returned although not at the level it was his freshman year. the most interesting is that despite his improvement/return his ft% is 90% lower than it was during his 3 years at Georgetown. www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/isaac-copeland-1.html

This really stinks. I've been watching Ike a fair amount this year and he has a really good game with shooting outside, playmaking, setting picks, rebounding, and transition ball. He became what I had hoped he would do under JTIII, but that only messed up his game while he was at the Hilltop.
