Team Loaded VA and the New England Playaz attracted a pretty impressive head coaching crowd. Kansas, Duke, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Utah, Florida Gulf Coast, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall and Virginia Tech were just a few of the programs we saw represented. David McCormack is certainly a big priority for a few on the list and the previously mentioned Nate Laszewski is getting more and more popular. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-takeaways-thursday-in-vegas

Really glad we got McCormick on campus with Pat. Whether Govan leaves after this season or not we're gonna need a big in this 2018 class. McCormick is the highest rated big man (va) closest to us. It would do us alot of good if we continue to make him a high priority especially given the proximity.

Coaches are working hard, and getting visits. I, like everyone else, would love to see a commitment from a couple of our prospects. Close, close the deal!

Hopefully more than just the traditional post-visit prediction.

If i read the crystal ball info correctly, he's supposed to visit Kansas unofficially on the 22nd...I don't know what the attraction to Oka.St. is, but they've long been rumored to be a favorite...and Duke is Duke...GU was a favorite of his way back, kind of fell off but now is apparently very much in the game...IMHO for us to land him, there has to be that special connection between him and Patrick...fingers crossed, couldn't find a better big man coach and person to play for...

One of the Loaded coaches was hired at Ok st. Mike Holder, the Oklahoma State athletic director, went against the grain by naming assistant coach Mike Boynton the program’s head man earlier this spring. All that the first-time head coach has done since then is keep the 2017 recruiting class intact, excel on the transfer market and assemble a wide-ranging coaching staff that has quality contacts throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Florida and Texas. What comes next is using these relationships and coming up with a prospect that many others believed they could not have landed. That commitment could be from David McCormack, a top-50 center and one of the most highly-recruited prospects in the nation. Holding over 40 scholarship offers, McCormack has been a priority for the Big 12 staff since April. The hiring of assistant coach Dave Kontaxis only helps things further thanks to Kontaxis' connections to the Team Loaded program, of which McCormack is a part. If Oklahoma State can beat many of the power programs in pursuit and develop the big man, it could result in a pipeline of highly-touted players headed to Stillwater. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/conference-call-perception-changing-commitments

Hoping we are turning the full court press on this young man. Kid will be a stud, and more importantly, a 3-4 year stud rather than a 1-and-done. Ewing should be able to lay out the best development plan for him compared to other coaches. Would like to see us be able to close another top-50 kid and think he's our best bet.

"It was a great visit," said McCormack about his visit to Kansas on Tuesday. "The facilities and campus was amazing," he added about Kansas. After his unofficial to Kansas it won't be a surprise if McCormack decides to make Kansas one of his official visits in the very near future. However, he still needs to figure what schools he will officially visit before he sets any plans in stone. "I have not scheduled any official visits yet," said McCormack. McCormack also doesn't have a set timetable on when he will make his college decision. He wants to make sure he gets all the information he needs about each school he's considering before making any sort of decision or timetable. "I'm not sure yet," said McCormack about when he thinks he could make his college decision. "The decision is still up in the air," he added. www.scout.com/Article/David-McCormack-talks-about-his-visit-to-Kansas-106407733
