It's not patting Rodney on the back to say that he has a better than "less than zero" shot at the NBA. It's a fact. Hey, it's all Hoya rainbows here so who am I to say? You want to wager on your fact just let me know. Umm... I'll bet everything I have that he has a better than less than zero shot. You do know what "less than zero" means, right?

Come on, Iman Shumpert is a vastly superior player to Rodney Prior. I hope he can make it. But Pryor would not be able to guard anyone on the floor.

Just watched game two and I'm sure Cavs wished they had Pryor instead of Shumpert because that may have been the difference. Maybe Cleveland will be calling to make sure they can catch up to Golden State's talent for next year. It's a different level man.

Maybe Cleveland will be calling to make sure they can catch up to Golden State's talent for next year. It's a different level man. It is. And Shumpert, while far from the defensive specialist he's meant to be, isn't what he should be. He's a better athlete than Pryor but Pryor uses his athleticism better. And Pryor is a better shooter and it isn't that close. He's also got more bounce. That didn't used to be the case with Iman about 3 years ago but it is now. Pryor isn't as good as Shumpert but the things a team would want from him, he's better at. He'd be a shooter off of the bench. He can do that. Shumpert is a D guy off of the bench and he's not far enough above average to warrant the minutes he gets.

Rodney will get a shot somewhere as an undrafted guy, probably D League. So we will get a chance to see whether he can develop his game. Hope he can do it.

NBC Sports - CollegeBasketballTalk: 2017 NBA Draft Preview: Who are the sleepers that could go undrafted? collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2017/06/21/2017-nba-draft-preview-who-are-the-sleepers-that-could-go-undrafted/Rodney Pryor, Georgetown: Pryor is built in the mold of a 3-and-D wing. He’s 6-foot-5 with a 6-foot-11 wingspan and he shot 41.2 percent from three as a senior at Georgetown. He also turns 25 years old in October, meaning that he probably already is what he is going to be as a player. Is that good enough to play in the NBA? I have little doubt that Pryor will get a shot somewhere along the line to prove that it is.

Rodney signed with the Nets summer league team. Wishing him the best of luck. I think he will show well in the summer league.
