So you are saying NC A&T could have really used Denzell to be their senior PG this year.

Seriously do you know how many 25 year old hoopers that didn't go to college are heading to the courts right now with a new pep in their step thinking they still got a shot to play high D1 ball? This could open a whole new angle on recruiting. Ok sorry for the jokes but on a serious note it seems like Denzell maybe enrolled at a JUCO and possibly NC A&T so seems weird he would have 4 years but I'm sure the staff did due diligence as they somehow found out he was still out there. No, I don't think he's ever played beyond high school and with the Ft. Hood post team, which was on reconstituted in 2014. No JUCO or college experience.

I don't care if he plays a minute as long as he toughens this team up. They need someone to do it.

Let me put it another way: Georgetown just got a commitment from a 24 year old player left unsigned as a high schooler in 2010, who was a redshirt in JC, who did not make the team at NC A&T as a walk-on, and whose only competitive play in the last five years was from military extramurals. And if Tre Campbell can't turn it around, he's our option at PG. Yes, I'm concerned.

From February: www.forthoodsentinel.com/sports/post-basketball-competes-in-capital-classic/article_ac277202-d5b4-11e5-84fd-f3277a6b0a2c.htmlOver the weekend, the Fort Hood post varsity men’s basketball team traveled to Washington, D.C., to compete in the annual Capital Classic basketball tournament, hosted by Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. The tournament ran Friday-Monday with 13 teams competing from four of the U.S. military branches: Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. Meyers noted players Denzell Hosch and Rodney Clinkscales who had outstanding games during the tournament. He said Hosch scored around 40 points off the bench during one of the games against Fort Belvoir. When Meyers and the team arrived in Washington, they were given access to the practice facility at Georgetown University to prepare for tournament play. Meyers said the hospitality the team was shown at Georgetown was “unexpected.” “The coaching staff and John Thompson heard that we were coming and they prepared the clock for us, had water for us, set out the chairs and were actually waiting there for us when we arrived,” he said. Meyers got to meet John Thompson, III, the current head coach at Georgetown, as well as his father, former Georgetown coach and NBA legend, John Thompson, Jr.

Ok, um, how to put this....
IS THIS FOR FREAKING REAL?!?! Is it an early April Fools joke?!?!
I hope III knows what he's doing. Because if this kid isn't at least a solid bench player and we miss out on Lykes or Mulmore...I will be done with III. This is a big swing. He better have connected.
Ok, deep breaths. At least on the bright side, this guy should bring some toughness and discipline to the team, right? I'm really trying to think that this is ok

He's a walk-on for us I assume? He should be eligible for GI Bill benefits for school, so I'd assume yes.
