Richard Curry out here putting Kaleb and Jessie in the flash mob over Hayes SMDH. The real problem is that Hayes wasn't placed in the flash mob the last three academic years.

This class is not worthy of Georgetown. Why not Ed? Easy to criticize the Jesuits and not back it up with any reasoning. Cat got your tongue?

Maybe if Brad's academic advisor had the foresight to red-shirt him in tap during his 1st or 2nd semester we wouldn't be having this conversation..

Good stufff! A classic JT3-styled subtle message to his teammates... Btw, Kaleb needs to practice his FTs. He'll get fouled a lot in the trenches and he's looking like Bowen from the stripe.

There was a sequence in the first half that gave a glimpse into what Kaleb can potentially bring to this team. Off a missed shot by Marquette he flew into the lane and grabbed a rebound. He made the outlet pass to start the break which resulted in a missed 3 by Cameron. Kaleb sprinted the floor and crashed the glass to get the offensive board and put back. Marquette promptly called TO.
Kid hasn't even scratched the surface yet. Give him more minutes.

The young man has enormous talent and his potential to be the next Otto Porter will not be reached until he decides to do those little things like crash the boards and move his feet on defense. KJ is doing those little things now and probably will be rewarded with more minutes at small forward. Agree with the free fhrow comment also, motion looks more like a sling than a shot at this point.

The start of that sequence was Kaleb hustling after the loose ball thrown off his foot on the Marquette possession prior, he scooped it up & made a nice pass to LJ for the layup.. The next time down your scenario above occurred, he pulled that board down in between Ellenson & Fischer too.. Just beautiful basketball..

I forgot that was immediately prior to the sequence I referenced. Another illustration of what he bring.

It was a sea of Marquette players and Kaleb sliced through to grab the board. A highlight of the game when it comes to hustle and effort.

I mean I'm glad he's getting more than spot minutes, but he's averaging 11 and Tre and Reggie are averaging 18 and 19 respectively. Reggie has earned decent PT, but Tre hasn't. Something like Kaleb - 20, Reggie - 18, Tre - 10 would be a better distribution imo.

I like Kaleb getting the lion's share of those minutes and the team playing some more zone if necessary.

Then the next play he called for the ball off the rebound quick push and e nds peak ahead of the pack for an easy duece... nice sequence for him..
