I'm with SF. Stop with the Hayes storyline. We know Georgetown will be thin next year in the front court and so does III. If he is not playing then it is for good reason and not because III forgot about him and needs a reminder...
...and I don't need an answer from III as to why he doesn't get a few more minutes.

So you start your post by asking folks to stop posting about Hayes not playing and then you proceed to talk about Hayes not playing.. How about posters stop telling other posters what's worthy of discussion, if you don't care/like the topic just ignore it..

Or we can just stop posting opinions on a talk board?

Etomic, I never asked people to stop posting about Hayes but to stop with the the overplayed storyline of why he doesn't get more minutes.

It isn't a true game thread if there aren't at least two pages devoted to playing time issues for our third-string center. Candidly, if this is the most controversy that we can muster on this board as to this season's Hoyas, it will be a great season. My sentiments exactly. Maybe Hayes is still recuperating. JT-3 did say that perhaps he is the most improved player this year.

Not to beat a dead horse
......but my 3 year old basically asked for a dimmer switch in Verizon.

Speaking of Bradley Hayes, anyone else notice he had the Paul White/Andrew Luck mountain man beard? Maybe he's hoping some of Paul White's mojo will rub off on him or maybe he's hoping JTIII will mistake Bradley Hayes for Paul White and put him on the floor alot earlier.

Hoyas look like a team that got information from their tournament and then went to work. Crisper offense, better rotations...great game.
And somehow Hayes is the topic of conversation? Well alright then. Seriously though, really good work by the team. The Hoyas look ready for Wednesday.

I hope Donny Marshall learns DSR's name. Having said that, his stories about the BE and Pops were entertaining.

Those comments from WG fans are great. Talk about lack of logic. Do they still teach logic at WG?
III was asked about playing WG in the post game presser and he did a good job of not answering it. Same line about inexact science.
Honestly, the event is terrible and always has been terrible. It needs new management or to just go away.

I know very little about Coach Skerry but, if his post-game presser is any indication, the guy seems like a class act. And, even though games with local teams that aren't high major programs are dangerous in a way, I hope we continue to play them.

I think it's funny that that board's discussion section looks like HoyaTalk. They stole our colors!

What you and etomic seem to care about on a Georgetown message board does not come even close to a media member should ask. That applies to what I want to ask, either. It's not happening because there's really not a lot of interest. The rest of us are watching to see if the freshmen can grow up quickly enough to become a truly dangerous team. But keep beating the weird Hayes drum! I'm sure the extra four minutes of game time will make all the difference! I'm sure Thompson's evaluation of literally hundreds of hours of watching Hayes play can't possibly justify his decisions, and if Ben Standig would just ask him, he'd see the error of his ways, Hayes would get that extra four minutes and he'd be an All-American next year! EDIT: At least just start a Hayes thread so you can comment there instead of making the focus of a massive blowout where Paul White went 3-4 from three into whether or not Hayes got one minute or six. Now you know what the media should ask or not. Nice! I want to see the development of all the players and that includes next year's only returning C. Hey, and if you don't like the subject of a post, you can skip it. Don't feel the need to respond if you don't care about it. As a member of the media 100% it is a question that should be asked. And I'd like to know why Hayes doesn't warrant anything more than 2 minutes in a blowout. If he's not that good, don't play and send him packing.

I hope Donny Marshall learns DSR's name. Having said that, his stories about the BE and Pops were entertaining. Donny's not too bad. There was something wrong with the PBP man's story. Either it wasn't in DC, or it wasn't Iverson's sophomore year, because we were undefeated at home that year.

After that game I think I will start a move to give Paul White a "Pierce" nickname - cause he is starting to look like a young Paul Pierce.
And after this thread, I will start calling Bradley Hayes Jeb, cause people love to talk about him but he ain't going to run.
