Well according to DSR, he considered Ike to be a better revounder than him, so no Numbers don't lie. It shows how humble DSR is. Yeah ok...DSR is a better revounder than Ike. You're right. You know better than I and everyone on the 2014-2015 Hoyas

That every player has a different set of circumstances to deal with. I agree….Is there some type of circumstance where a player increases his avg by 10 pts and 3 boards in a season that doesn’t involve him having a Great Summer, or what is your issue with what I wrote? You act like its improbable to have a great summer. It's événement more improbable to have a non-progressive summer.

Then your point is that you're just stating the obvious. Obviously a player has to have a good summer to improve a good amount.

I guess Mikael, and Josh, and Jabril, and Aaron, and LJ, and Paul, and Brad, and Reggie, and Tre are humble, humble men too then Or did you just completely miss the part where our leading rebounder said that he was the best rebounder on the team?

On KenPom, DSR's DR% is 11.6, and Copeland's is 17.3. DSR is an absolutely great rebounder for a guard, but if Copeland sees more time on the floor, he will likely pull down more rebounds than DSR (as he should, given his position and height).

Hopefully. A guard should not be the best rebounder. With Hayes, Govan, our current freshmen with more experience and stronger, DSR returning, etc..., I think we will have a better rebounding team than last year and we need that to be one of the team's goals for next year. We were #133 last year ( espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/statistics/team/_/stat/rebounds/sort/avgRebounds/seasontype/2/count/121 )

Are we really suggesting that 7 more rebounds in 451 more minutes makes DSR a "better" rebounder than Ike? I get differing positional expectations and all, but Ike can get above everyone and had a number of impressive O-board put backs this year. He is outstanding on the glass. DSR is a great rebounder for a 6'2"-ish pg, but comeon, he is not objectively better at getting boards and the numbers show that.

No chit but for something so obvious it took you about 5 comments to understand it…Err And obviously every players circumstances are different, or do you think that is not also “stating the obvious”? Not sure if serious...

This has been one of the more humorous rock vs. [insert member] arguments imo Sure, if by humorous you mean mind-blowingly, excruciatingly frustrating, to the point of jabbing toothpicks under my finger nails to force myself from continuing to read further.

Not to get in the way of a good hoyatalk sparring match, but reading this thread I was thinking something. You know how this team goes from good to great next year? If DSR is our second best player. Ike really does hold the key to our success. The ceiling is just higher with DSR back. He still could be our #1 option next year and if he is, we'd all be happy.

We have a chance to be really, really good next season....Can't think of a better potential offensive team in recent Hoya history
