This kid is a stud. All rookie team as a starting center in the AAC. Was a top 50 kid out of high school and can handle the academics at Georgetown. Staff is very high on him and although they aren't sure when he'd be eligible, they believe he'd make an immediate impact. They believe he'd anchor our frontline along with Copeland and White. He visited Florida this past weekend, Mich. St. and Arizona are also showing interest.
VISITING GEORGETOWN THIS WEEKEND!!

Imagine a starting lineup of Smith-Rivera, Peak, Copeland, White, and Egbunu with Derrickson, Campbell, Hayes, and maybe Mann, Dickerson and any other 2015 recruits off the bench... whoo boy

What is your "gut" telling you about our chances blueandgray ? I've learned I can't trust my gut when it comes to recruiting, so I can't really answer this. What I can say is that the staff really likes this kid and that he'd start as soon as he was eligible. I don't think we'd recruit over him like some of the other schools on his list....he would be "the guy" for us for the next few years. I do think we are in his final 3 or 4 schools...so there's that.

By the way, believe he averaged 7 and 6 as a freshman and shot 58% from the field. He also averaged just under 1.5 blks a game. These numbers would go up with the number of touches he'd get in our offense.

Is there a chance he would be eligible this fall?

Does Egbunu have any other visits planned? Who else is in the running for his services?

I like the flurry of activity on the part of our coaching staff. Hopefully, they have learned their lesson and are trying to be very proactive. Love it!

Even having to sit a year he's going to be way ahead of most any big we can bring in for '15. We would be absolutely scary defensively with the length and tenacity of our team. Don't let him leave campus without a commitment!!

This would be a great get. Kid has great size is talented and can really defend. If he had to sit out a year that could actually be really beneficial. It would give him a year to practice with the team and learn the offense.

Is he really 7'? On ESPN and USF's site, he is listed as 6'10". Did he grow or are we just being optimistic?
