Statsheet has us at 1107 points allowed on opponent 1040 FGA, 282 TO, 325 FTA. Using FGA + TO + .44 * FTA = 1465 possesions, I get 75.6. You're not going apples to apples for the <4s PPP if you're adjusting for OR, which I assume your overall PPP is. Ohhhh. PPP = points per play, not points per possession Got it.

Drat. We play our best while blizzards rage outside.
Worst case scenario: the team gets trapped in Jersey.

Except at McDonough Arena It will be interesting to see how they handle all the NE games this weekend. The blizzard is supposed to be pretty significant.

Would be interesting to see the impact on RU attendance. Would they bail or treat it like we treated the Nova smackdown?

I think that the snowstorm could definitely impact attendance at Rutgers, but I'd be surprised if the game cannot be played. Right now, New York City is projected to get about 8 inches of snow, with less points south. My guess is that according to the current forecasts, Rutgers would get 4-6 inches at the RAC.
The storm will also be finished (in New Jersey) early on Saturday, so it should be messy but manageable. I realize 4-6 inches of snow would paralyze DC, but it should be okay in New Jersey. I'm not saying it won't cause any problems, but I think the game can probably be played.

In DC, on the other hand, the federal government opens late because there are clouds in the sky.

All fair points. For some reason, I thought it was going to snow much more in NJ/NY, but it doesnt sounds like as much.

Rutgers is averaging the smallest home court attendance in the BE at less than 5,000 a game. They don't need an excuse not to show up. They won't show up anyway. They didn't even crack 6,000 for their game against louisville last night a preseason top 5 team. And that's the best attended game thus far.

I'm planning on driving from NYC to the game on Sat morning (around 11). Should I totally take that off the table now?

I really think it depends. If your car can easily get access to main roads, I think you'd be able to get down there since the snow should end Saturday morning, and NY and NJ are pretty good about clearing the main roads. If I remember correctly, you can get down to the RAC using mostly highways (the Turnpike). Granted, it might take a lot longer than normal, so I would leave plenty of time.
I really think it'll depend on timing and the amount of snow. If it's in the 6 inch range and ends 4-5 hours before the game, you'll probably be able to get there, though perhaps at a slower pace than normal.

Here in Piscataway I can tell you national signing day was a much bigger deal than the UL game was ever going to be last night, even prior to the 2nd half beat down UL administered. The RU fanbase is basically waiting for the school to fire Mike Rice prior to supporting the program. He is an embarassment, fined 50K and suspended 3 games earlier this season. It is a shame because Georgetown was going to easily be the most attended game so far this season. I was getting daily promotional email about the UL game and several before that, but nothing for the Hoyas. Tickets still selling at full price. And the snow should be around 3-6 inches here and will have no impact on the game unless something really unusual happens.
