Time to sack up. It's go time gents. Quette is NOT an easy place to play but it should be a really good measuring stick for our young squad. I wear the glasses, drink the Kool Aid and all of that. I think we can come out with a W and, if we do, that's a big win regardless of rankings.

Me, SFHoya99 and SFOHoya will be making our annual West Coast road trip to this game. If anyone out there wants to meet up before and after the game, we're ready to hit Milwaukee pretty hard. If anyone has recommendations, let us know. Hoya Saxa!

It would be nice to start off with a W. Their Pomeroy rating is 54 (Hoyas are 40) so there is some reason for optimism. Can not afford any rust from the layoff.
GO Hoyas!!! Beat the Warriors.

I can't shake the memory of our boys getting reffed right off the floor last year at Marquette

Milwaukee in January - sounds awesome. ;D Sure, it's cold. But I prefer to think of it as a good reason to go inside and drink.

If anyone has recommendations, let us know. Hoya Saxa! As a life long Wisconsin resident (and Milwaukee resident for the last 11 years), I'm a bit biased but I love Milwaukee. If you want to come get some beers and enjoy yourself, you'll enjoy your stay. A few recommendations would be Major Goolsby's, which is next to the US Cellular Arena adjacent to the Bradley Center, on the corner of 4th and Kilbourn. Big bar, tons of TV's, great burgers. Also, I suggest the Brat House. 2 for 1 at all times! Try Schlitz -- "The beer that made Milwaukee famous". I'm in the minority, but I love it! You'll definitely have some good beer sh*ts in the morning...always lets ya know you had a fun night! Lastly, the Old German Beer Hall (which is right next to the Brat House). These are some dark beers, so you'll get buzzed/plowed pretty quickly at this place.

This is the one team I think we should use the 2-3 zone exclusively against. They haven't been all that consistent from the outside this year. Plus it would help us from stopping Gardner from destroying us inside and getting Hopkins in major foul trouble.

So expect us to play lots of that.

Maybe some board members will show up at the game? I've always enjoyed meeting our fellow posters when the occasion arises. Either way, have a great time with your Dad. As a Dad myself, I can guarantee he is delighted to have his son going along for the trip and game. Happy New Year and... HOYA SAXA!
