Is there any word on Alonzo Mourning III. He seem to be off the basketball radar. Outside of the one article where he had 15 blocks, there has been no more write up about him. Is the any scout, rivals, espn etc. write up on him? We had a Ewing. No Morning?

The sequel is very rarely better than the original. Pass.

The sequel is very rarely better than the original. Pass. Yeah, PEJr. was terrible. Wish he wasn't there to help us get to the Final Four.

Patrick Ewing was one of the pillars that the big east was build upon. PE JR was a servicable player with a million dollar last name.

PE Jr. was a terrific 6th man who was invaluable to the Final Four team. Zo III doesn't need to be his dad to make an impact. So saying we should pass simply because "the sequel is very rarely better than the original" is silliness.

The sequel is very rarely better than the original. Pass. Ken Griffey Jr. says hello. Sounds like that's true for Wiggins, as well. Which has nothing to do with Zo III, of course; don't know anything about Zo III.

Jellybean Bryant was pretty good. And his son turned out pretty well too.

More relevantly though, PE Jr was a great guy to have on our team, was a big factor on our Final Four team, and after he lost his starting role still won BE 6th man of the year.
Guy had great attitude and enthusiasm...affected the entire team!
I have no idea how good Zo Jr might be, but I don't doubt we get him if he's good.

...Otto Porter, Jr. ...
However, a name doesn't mean the player will be any good. Look at Jordan's kids.

The sequel is very rarely better than the original. Pass. Yeah....don't know what Michigan was thinking when they took on Hardaway and Rice.

Can we answer the original damn question! IS he developing? Is he growing? Is he on the recruiting radar at all? Yes. My question is about his developing. His class is 2014. There was a little write up about him his soph year saying that he showed promise. Haven't heard anything since. It would be nice if has developed into a good player that he come to Gtown to play.

Maybe they are keeping him from being a "recruited athlete" so that he does not take a scholarship slot when he comes here as a walk-on.

Someone asked about him in a previous thread(2014 wish list i think) and I'm too lazy to look back to find exactly which.
Anyway, RDF commented that the young Mourning was not D1 material at all.

Based on Trey's twitter feed, he seems like a good kid and huge euro soccer fan. If he is big into playing ball, you can't tell from what he writes about: twitter.com/trey_mourning
