Someone asked about him in a previous thread(2014 wish list i think) and I'm too lazy to look back to find exactly which. Anyway, RDF commented that the young Mourning was not D1 material at all. He could probably find a D1 school to take him-but he's not Georgetown level player and not a high major scholarship player.

better yet, let's see where we're at in a year. *wink* Maybe "Georgetown-level player" will have a different meaning with regard to our program than it does now.

PE Jr. was a terrific 6th man who was invaluable to the Final Four team. Zo III doesn't need to be his dad to make an impact. So saying we should pass simply because "the sequel is very rarely better than the original" is silliness. Ok, listen before everyone comments on my comment it was kinda a joke. I couldnt pick out zo 3 if my life depended on it. For all I know he could be the next best thing...

If Zo's son is the third, then Zo was a sequel....

Alonzo Mourning Jr? If Zo's son is the third, then Zo was a sequel.... Lots of juniors in the recent Georgetown past--most never called themselves by it, though. Darrel Owens Jeff Green Roy Hibbert Marc Egerson Jessie Sapp Austin Freeman Greg Monroe Vincent (Vee) Sanford [Keith] Hollis Thompson Henry Sims If you go back even further, players such as Charles Smith, Johnny Jones, Robert Churchwell, Allen Iverson, Victor Page, and Gerald Riley were all named after their fathers.

Thats like every good player we have ever had.

Word from Miami is that he is in the midst of taking next step to high D-1 level. Helped lead his team to state semi's. Supposedly has innate timing on his blocks and has developed a really nice 12-14 footer. We shall see...

Wearing 23/24 (00 on Raiders team) and not 33 like his Dad. How tall is he now?

I will be very sad if Trey does not pick the Hoyas. Given that he said his dad will play a big part in his recruiting process and our success with big men, I think we have a good shot.

He looks nowhere near 6'9" in that video even though it seems to have been posted this month. Kid needs a flat-top!
