Should be a great game. The ESPN article says it will be on board a Navy ship, but does not say aircraft carrier. Since there are no carriers homeported at Mayport, this would have to be a visiting carrier or possibly an amphibious assault ship. I don't think anything else would be big enough for a court plus spectators. What about a sub - that would be interesting.

If only we could have scheduled this a few months ago we could have landed Nerlens Noel! I hear he really likes boats!

Tennessee is at home.
Don't understand your need toc comment. I know we have ahomegame with Tenn, Let's see 18 conference games, 4 OCC at neutrals, Tenn, N.D., that leaves five games. They will all have to be at home if the AD wants to get 16 home games.
such a need to be heard, think firsty b4 you correct.

Of the 3 games scheduled for Nov. 9, I would say ours is the best one. This might even get us a preseason rank for the big matchup

Made similar comment yesterday on the air. The host of the lunchtime show said that "maybe the President will be there ... he and the first lady were there for the UNC-Mich. St. game last year," and then he said, "or maybe the President Elect will be there," since it's 3 days after the election. I replied "and hopefully, it's not the same guy."

Great news!!!.... I never understood the "I don't care" when the first opportunity was cancelled. Georgetown need this national exposure. It's quite an honor for the Georgetown and Florida players and family to be in the presence of President Obama and First Lady. I know that all the Hoya and Florida players are still excited and facinated to have Obama as their president. Go Hoyas!!!

#1. It was my understanding that there was a conflict of scheduling. #2. I am sure that the President would take advantage of an event like this. He is definitely what I describe as a people person. #3. It make sence for Georgetown to help regain the national fan base that it enjoyed in the 1980s. #4. I don't think that anyone would not understand that Georgetown and the majority of Florida players are not excited and facinated to have a Black President. Something that most of them and their families and fore fathers would never imagined.

Great stuff! I think it's safe to say we should not expect our sixth straight 10-1 start to the season with this out of conference schedule... but who knows, that kind of start with these opponents would be even more impressive! Regardless of record, just excited for these early season tests and how they will help us as a team and prepare us for Big East, as well as the added benefit of exposure, of course. Go Hoyas.

All I know is that if we win this game, we're going to the Final Four. If we lose? Maybe we'll get a call from the CBI, but it's doubtful. (Also, please say no to camo unis. Those things are hideous and not at all an "homage." I may have already mentioned this when the SDSU game was rumored, but I am mostly senile. Besides, it's worth repeating).
