My 101....dont want to get any hopes up because recruiting is all rumors but ive heard it from a fellow 2012 prospect that said he told him he liked GU a lot...that is all, but anything can change between now and decision time these players are still kids

With regard to Anderson, I wouldn't count out Florida. The kid wants to run the point...Donovan knows a little something about coaching pg's..and it's a great program. That said, it does sound like the hoyas have as good a shot as anyone.

If Anderson doesn't choose GU I almost hopes he does go for Florida or uCLA. Typically I root for the BE in these matters but the last couple of years have tired me on the outcome of the Hoyas losing out on their main targets to BE rivals.

JT III was on his way to the Peach Jam in Augusta today.
Regardless of what happens with the 2012 class, you cant say that JTIII and staff failed, they have been all over the place, mentioned by so many top recruits, and have been after players at every position. The hard work will tip the scales at some point. I am very excited for the next few seasons.

JT III was on same flight as Kyle Anderson and NJ Playaz (as was Ben Howland) on way down to Peach Jam.
Kyle mentioned to NBE Basketball that SH is on him hardest and Georgetown the longest.
Hoyas watched '14 Forward Chris McCullough of NYC (Metro Hawks) today.
Kentucky is entering picture for Troy Williams now--so all of the big boys are stepping up to evaluate him.
Kris Jenkins of Gonzaga/DC Assault '13 will narrow his school list down at end of month. Has Hoyas on a list of many--but kind of a tweener. Good skill set though.
New Name I've not seen Hoyas mentioned at all with before--Chicago Meanstreets player Darrell Bowie, a 6'6 forward. He'll be at Peach Jam too. Bowie has Iowa, Stanford, Marquette, Florida State, Minnesota, Wisconsin as some of the others on him--but first time I've heard of him and mentioning Hoyas showing a bit of interest--not sure of how high-but add his name to list for this thread on a slow day before final stretch of Part I of July Evaluation Period.

Love the hard work but you have to land the kids or it does not mean anything. With the recruiting class we had in 2011, 2012 if we land good kids could have us set up nicely 2012-2013. We would be young, long and talented. JT III was on his way to the Peach Jam in Augusta today. Regardless of what happens with the 2012 class, you cant say that JTIII and staff failed, they have been all over the place, mentioned by so many top recruits, and have been after players at every position. Great job by everyone adding stuff to the thread!
Devonta Pollard is back at it--he's playing with Southern Phenoms at Peach State Showcase.
Arnaud Moto might miss entire Peach Jam-sprained knee at DC Showcase this past weekend.
Brice Johnson (had a few mentions of Hoyas in past) outplayed Dajuan Coleman in CP3's upset over Albany City Rocks-who also have Ricardo Ledo. Johnson was perfect from field 9-9, had 7 boards and 6 blocks. More of a PF who is bouncy while Coleman is a widebody. Not sure if Hoyas are still on him--but since he's listed them in past and played well this week (also at Big shots prior to this event).
Archie Goodwin (lists Hoyas--longshot) will be making his decision this Spring and is back playing at Peach Jam with Arkansas Wings. Goodwin is '12 wing.
Tony Parker the "nomad" is playing with GA Stars at Peach Jam and not Celtics this week. That means he'll play agaisnt BJ Anya at some point as they are in same bracket.
III and Kirby are at Peach Jam right now--and apparently Hoyas have assistants still at KY Jamfest for TJ Warren.

12, 11 and 11 for Kyle as the Playaz win in the night session. Myles Davis added 19.
Troy Williams had 20 and 7 but Boo lost to B-More Elite.

So at the Peach Jam there were 3 games in the morning and 3 games in evening. Each team plays once per session.
Here is the J3 tracker:
AM Game 1 - Not sure Game 2 - Team Takeover Game 3 - Playaz
PM Game 1 - Team Takeover Game 2- Boo Williams Game 3 - Not sure, I think he left
I thought it was interesting that he didn't see DSR or Noel but both listed Georgetown as one of the first schools out of their mouths when asked about it. I wasn't asking leading questions either. A bunch of "media" types only ask about the school they care about which doesn't give you a good idea as to what the kid is actually thinking.
Kirby is harder to keep track of. He was watching Boo one time by himself as well as the Texas team that Julius Randle is on.
I saw Troy Williams play in a high school state playoff game in February against TC Williams and I wasn't that impressed. After watching parts of his two of his game today, I'm singing a different song. EXPLOSIVE. He may have missed a bunch around the rim in the second game but he was attempting some pretty sick put back dunks out of nowhere.

Kirby was at PeachState event-he went to watch Devonta Pollard and he'll be back tomorrow as events are so close. Landen Lucas is playing in event in MPLS as a surpsise--so I'll check him out after being in Milwaukee today and then do the back and forth until Friday.

After many years of reading posts on this board the most troubling question to me is whether and when RDF sleeps.

JT3 took in Kyle Anderson game during the 9am session.
Hunter was watching Baltimore Elite vs Team Texas Titans.
