Saw this kid this past Summer at AAU event--and didn't bother writing about him because he wasn't mentioning Hoyas at all--STUD ATHLETE and sitting next to a former NBA player/current NBA broadcaster--he pointed Henry out as one of the guys he thinks has NBA caliber athleticism/upside. Needs polish--but is a tremendously talented kid--

Kid looks like he has nice court vision. III clearly in the market for a long wing player who can score, pass and defend.

From the March 11 Dallas paper.... Henry is a unique talent at times looking more to facilitate than dominate. He s averaging 15.6 points 12.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists and is being recruited by USC Oregon and Georgetown. His coach says I dont know anybody who wouldn't want to play with him. He is not the typical 5 star basketball player. He wants someone to finish what he gives him.
March 13 Henry's team won the class 4A boys state final. Henry had 4 points No word on rebounds or assists

Oklahoma just fired Capel. They have any top PG's coming in next season?

As with otto, we don't have any scholarships left right now, and I certainly don't see one opening up while we a restill playing, nor does JTIII strike me as a guy who would yank a guy's schollie, although he would be honest about their chances for playing time going forward. Everyone we have now seems to be a hard worker and a good representative of the school, so unless someone cannot stay without getting more PT, I don't see any changes.

Nice guys finish........to compete with Calhoun and Coach KKK you need to use their tactics. And there is the crux of the matter. if we have to bend/break the rules and act without class and integrity with our own players in order to "compete", then sign me up for a middle-of-the-pack program. I think we can still compete, and compete well, the way we do it now, as long as we adjust our recruiting evaluations and goals as we learn.

If recruiting over kids is a crime then I am ok with it. Nice guys finish........to compete with Calhoun and Coach KKK you need to use their tactics. I heard academics were/are an issue for Young. Still say this is best PG in country. He just got revenge for the national televised loss to Brad Beal/Chaminade too-and knocked them out of playoffs--on way to State Title. Beal is unreal too. Young would be my dream PG--but doubt he leaves Arkansas unless they really screw up the hiring process. Other jobs will open---Arizona State opens up--Jahi Carson becomes available--and that kid is someone Hoyas were on a while back. Talented smallish guard--but athletic and very fast.

No kid in the 2011 class has more bounce than Carson. Kid loves to run....not sure our system is best suited for him.
