Unless we throw a schollie at Reischel, I think we might get a commitment from a '12 kid before another '11 signs on.
Going out of a little limb, I will go with one of the big men in 2012 (and there are plenty of good ones).

GU is on so many bigs for 2012. I don't know. Let me see....Got their combo guard, still need a WF and two bigs. Hopkins has said he won't commit til Nov. I'll say Ochefu.

My pre-MM guess of who will be our next recruit is Hopkins.
If not, I'll go with: 6'10", 235-pound, "one of the most athletic players in the 2011 class" Derell Robertson from MS (right down C. Kirby's alley). He listed GU as his favorite school. Does he have an offer and could he take right now? Does JT3 want him or is he thinking about the top-rated 2012 centers interested in GU? Does JT3 wait until spring or bird in hand? There would definitely be PT to be won by Robertson as a freshman if HS and/or MA do not improve as expected.

Not sure who the next commit will be, but it better be a Big. If somebody put a gun to my head, I'd say Hopkins.

Hood and Ochefu both sign after midnight madness! HSB, if you prove right about this, I'm going to fly to DC, drive over to Bethesda and plant a big wet one right on your lips.

according to his facebook he's planning on coming. It's GREAT to have a little recruiting momentum when kids show up for MM. You know Trawick and Hopkins will be there and talking things up big time! Then you have the BE pre-season POY. And a really talented bunch of kids. GU looks even more attractive now then it did a few days ago. Come on Mr. Ochefu.... join the parade! All the pieces you need to complement your role are in place!

Does the addition of Hopkins hurt us as it relates to Ochefu? No.

Does the addition of Hopkins hurt us as it relates to Ochefu? No. Agreed. It makes our position stronger, more attractive to Ochefu - -who is a C.

Question...do JUCO's have to sit out a year like a transfer? No, they come in with immediate eligibility, but for only two years.

Question...do JUCO's have to sit out a year like a transfer? No, they come in with immediate eligibility, but for only two years. Doesn't this depend upon whether the juco player spent one or two years at the juco? My understanding is that if a juco player comes after one year at the juco, he still has three years of eligibility remaining.
