Forgot all about this dude.
Sigh. Why can't these possible sleepers commit to schools in other conferences?

Eh, DePaul has so far to go. I'm happy for them.

Good pick up for the Blue Demons. I like talent coming into the conference.

Good pick up for the Blue Demons. I like talent coming into the conference. Unless, of course, it comes to the Orangeboys.

A strong Syracuse is good for the Big East.

eeehhhh, wrong answer. Us being strong is most important since, though some kids these days don't even remember it, GU is the basketballbeatingheart of the BEast. A strong St. Johns is crucial, a strong Marquette and DePaul would be great, but in the end, cuse is going to travel well and draw dingbatfans whether they are good or not. UConn's strength is more crucial to the league, Rutgers and SHU would help a lot, even ND, Cincy and Louisville are more important to draw attention to the league around the nation. 'cuse doesn't matter, nobody who didn't go there cares and frankly, I think it might be their turn to suck (on the court, we all know they gack like, well, syracuse girls off the court...) All 'cuse's continued prominence does is allows homer "journalists" from the Newhouse school to keep shading media coverage orange, and I for one could do without that. A strong Syracuse is good for the Big East. on a totally unrelated note, how come spellcheck doesn't recognize "dingbatfans" as a misspelling? is it because it is within 8 words of Syracuse?

The stronger the Cuse hoops program stays relative to it's football program is critically important to the health of Big East hoops conference. Every conference team benefits from a strong Cuse program.

Syracuse is the enemy - Satan in baggy orange shorts. No evil that could befall them could be too great(okay, I would never root for injury, serious illness, etc., but defection, probation, or any recruiting disasters can certainly be the subject of fervent prayer).

Exactly. Stronger basketball-only schools are what's best for the conference. Syracuse can rot in ice.

If he is 14, I hope he's not our next recruit; that would leave us pretty thin for the next couple years.

Does anyone have any info on LJ Rose? I clicked on ESPNs site under considering and he was 3rd on our list. He is the #1 PG in '12. Do we have a legit chance with him? He is a 6'3" PG so that size at the point would be great...............
