DSR is an all-American in my eyes. I think we are going to love him at the hilltop and I hold a special place for him for having committed to GU at a time when the future of the conference and the future of GU basketball was in question.

He's not wrong, Heck based on who made it this year he'd have made it if he just committed to NC state: 3 McDD's.

He's not wrong, Heck based on who made it this year he'd have made it if he just committed to NC state: 3 McDD's. Jeff Goodman tweeted this about the open practice for Mcd AA team.. "two guys that did not impress, Tyler Lewis & Anthony Bennett"

Truthful tweet from DSR: "If I committed to Duke, or UNC I'd probably be a all American!" twitter.com/#!/Dvauntes44 Will he play college basketball with a chip on the shoulder? Proof them wrong, DSR. Let's start with the BE Rookie Team at the end of next season.

Argh. Meniscus is better than ligament damage. He should be 100 percent by this fall. Hope it doesn't limit him in Kenner or anything.

That's a shame. But no reason to mess around with a concussion for an exhibition game. Off topic, but I know Tyler Lewis is a good player and so forth, but pretty much everyone agrees DSR was the motor behind that 44-0 Oak Hill team. He should be in the game. That last statement is not true at all. Most will tell you that Tyler Lewis was the key player on that team and he was. Whether he comes a star in college or not-the kid is a very good HS player and good point guard. He was guy who kept everyone happy and made sure guys got the ball. If you took Lewis off that team, move DSR to PG, that team loses 5-6 games and with majority of their schedule being against inferior opponents, that's significant because they played about 10 competitive opponents in their 44 games.

I'm glad we have DSR instead of Lewis. Whatever. I don't particularly care about the McDonald's game anyway so we will see next year.

I'd take Tyler Lewis in a heartbeat, put him in position to create/dish.
