The only reason I said he was FOS was because he basically admitted it, that there was so much in his book that was uncorroborated and/or unsubstantiated.

Amazingly, one of the things that isn't in his list of "stuff I couldn't get factual evidence of" is her sniffing cocaine off of a 55 gallon oil drum. That absolutely blows my mind.
And come on - Palin "threatening" to sue? Either you sue or you don't. She won't.

Here's what the media will be discussing for the next 48 hours: The Superstar is out. livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/updates/912I still can't believe it, but Ed's point about Palin's superstar status continues to be correct. Drudge even has a siren on the headline, for [edited]'s sake.

As George Will would say, "Somehow, the republic will endure."

She's just following the latest fad . First "Sarah Palin: Reality Star." Then "Sarah Palin: Potential Candidate?" And now that Christie's started the trend, "Sarah Palin: Too Cool To Run." :-D The above is all TOTALLY in jest. I have no idea why she does the things she does. I just find it funny that she decided to announce she won't run the day after Christie announced.

Since Christie announced about fifty times that he wasn't running, guess you could say Palin's announcement at any time over the last six months would have come after a Christie announcement he's not running.

I can think of a thousand reasons why she won't run. But I think the biggest is that there's a level of scrutiny there that I don't think her candidacy would withstand (she turned off a lot of undecideds against McCain - people forget that) and she's got a ridiculously sweet deal right now: Famous, doesn't really have to work, making a crapload of money.
President's not exactly an easy job.
