The part about her doing cocaine off of a 55-gallon oil drum sounds like something South Park would make up. Crazy.

The part about her doing cocaine off of a 55-gallon oil drum sounds like something South Park would make up. Crazy. Well, I think it's pretty clear that drug abuse, even that of cocaine, really only harms your approval ratings with people who already hate you. And cheating politicians get by all the time (but maybe simply a man can do it but a woman can't)? Is it possible that that of the marijuana, cocaine, infidelity and sleeping with a black man accusations, the last one hurts her most? (Not that I think any of them will really harm her -- people who love Palin will love her. People who hate her will hate her. And there's not a lot of undecided there to sway.) [edit: yes, I know it's just the enquirer right now and even when the book comes out, it's just a book. But I already am not voting for Palin pending some drastic change in policy beliefs by her; I'm not evaluating her -- I'm simply intrigued by the reaction by people if the accusation are true or proven false.]

I don't care about at any of these either since I was never going to support Sarah Palin for anything either, but the fact that Global Warming denying Sarah Palin was snorting cocaine off of oil drums just sounds like caricature. Drill baby Drill!

So she's on the "Go Team" and she parties. What's not to love about this gal?

In fairness to Sarah Palin, Glen Rice was a beast back then when he was at Michigan.
Pretty sure I would've slept with him if I could've.

Be interesting to see how Sarah reacts to this book. My recommendation, for all it's worth, is to issue a statement saying something like "I will not today, nor will I ever, comment on the contents of this book. Everyone can believe or disbelieve whatever he or she chooses". Then, never, ever comment on it.

Yeah, that worked real well for Anthony Weiner and John Edwards.

Sarah Palin is not an elected official so she doesn't have to answer anything.

Neither was John Edwards. But he was running for President at the time, and Sarah Palin is currently pretending to run for President.

So Sarah Palin engaged in conduct that immediately qualifies her as a Kennedy...

So Sarah Palin engaged in conduct that immediately qualifies her as a Kennedy... Not really . . . I mean, at least she was single at the time. . (see, I can make jokes about liberals, too!)

Given the ridiculous level of scrutiny that Palin received -- and the virtual open animosity toward her from the MSM -- during the 2008 election (and since), what I find most surprising is that, if any of this is true, that it hasn't been made public before now.
Seriously, with the 29,878 reporters that various outlets assigned just to read her emails, no one was able to discover this until a Peeping Tom with an agenda moved in next door in Wasilla??
That guy must be some reporter.

With regard to Rice, Sarah's human like the rest of us. The issue not discussed thus far is that professionally she acted unethically. She was covering the tournament.

Saying that none of these things were discovered before isn't true either. The National Enquirer reported on the affair in 2008.
And yeah, the Glen Rice thing is sort of her Heidi Watney moment.

Drill baby Drill! This basically sums up my views on this. Politically this should be a non-issue, but it's pure comedy gold. I can't wait to see what the Capitol Steps do with this. And for the record, the reporter who wrote the book is creepy as hell.

Also, when it comes to juicy gossip, as pertains to the Palin family at least, it appears that Joe McGinness may be completely full of [edited]. And what's more he knows he's full of [edited]. But the book went out anyway. Oh well. No big deal.

He's not completely FOS. Hasn't Glen Rice basically backed up at least one story? Do you really think all those stories are false? Like I said before, I don't care, but why do I feel like if this were a candidate on the other side of the aisle, you'd be saying, where there's smoke, there's fire, Boz?
