I have to pay more attention. After every game I have looked in the box score for Meredith's name, as I knew she was a three point threat, and then today looked at the roster with her name nowhere to be found. Sorry to find out about this injury. I sure she is leading the cheers for the women. I enjoy her interviews with various sports figures at Georgetown. Her injury must be pretty bad, since she could claim a medical redshirt for this year, but apparently the injury is career ending. I still don't have a definite idea of what her injury was, but I've heard it might have something to do with her back

Obv...the fact that she wasn't freshman of the week last week is a travesty actually. She's one of(if not) the best freshman/most impactful freshman in the country.

And the women close out the OOC part of their schedule with a resounding win of 72-57 at Clemson, stretching their winning streak to 10 games. The women are 11-2, and begin BE play Saturday at #23 Syracuse, which is currently undefeated.

Should be getting more points in the polls (more than 2) after their defeat of cuse.

well we have 9pts in the ESPN poll which has Syracuse at 23. The AP which gives us 2pts doesn't have cuse ranked in the top 25. So i expect to move up in the Espn but only slightly in the AP

The Hoyas are #25 in the Coaches/ESPN poll(!!!!!): sports.espn.go.com/ncw/rankings Anyone know the last time the were ranked? I know it hasn't been while I've been at Georgetown, and knowing the state of the program back in 06-07, I'm sure it was quite a while before that
