I'm on the hook for the Hoop Club Blog's full RECAP tomorrow so be on the lookout for that. After Vee Sanford's performance tonight, I think we would all be perfectly happy if Georgetown decided to make "Planet Rock" by Afrika Bambaataa and the Soul Sonic Force the layup line song for all of eternity. Overall, a rather bizarre night I must say--from the weather clearly dampening attendance (you can't ignore the fact that the gym wasn't quite full) to for my money the most entertaining combo of student dance groups and players dancing/having fun in many years to quite possibly the best on the spot adjustment JT3 has made as coach--coming up with a creative way to cover MPD/DOPS need to lock down McDonough at the end of MM after the incident (you can read about it the Georgetown Voice's blog* as of right now, and surely other outlets by tomorrow morning). See ya tomorrow, kids! (*EDIT: Although that 5,000 number they cite as the attendance is probably double what it was in reality) Ehhh, attendance wise if you move the students who crowded around the sidelines into the bleacher corners you'd have a full looking arena. I was pleased with the turnout and the event as a whole. Although I will admit I was sweating bullets in the buildup that we wouldn't get enough people in.

Simple question: what recruits were at MM? The board has really trailed off. Too much stupid posts and not enough information. Who cares about folks girlfriends, boyfriends etc; just post bball information!

Hello, Hello, is anybody out there? I've been away from the Board since the end of the season, so I come back to read all the good reports about midnight madness and there is zip. Is there another Board that has all the latest info? Hello, Hello.

I mean we don't really do a lot of basketball during midnight madness. So it's not like we learned a lot about the team from friday night. I learned Vee is a really good dancer. That's about it. It's not lke we play a scrimage, and even if we did we still probably wouldn't learn much.

You are correct, but I tune in to get the recruits that were there and to get the latest physical growth of the players i.e, Monroe, Sims, and Thompson etc., and pounds loss by Freeman .

Most of the latter information was covered in the Kenner League posts over the summer. And most people don't pay attention to the recruits at MM. Sorry.

You can see recruits who were there in the MM recruits thread on the recruiting board. According to GuHoyas Greg has grown an inch and put on some muscle. Austin has slimmed down; Sims and thompson have prbalby added weight but it's not that noticeable.

Don't know about anyone else but all I get is a title and the date. The writeup itself does not appear. MCI: shows up fully for me (running Firefox 3.5 on Windows XP FYI). Maybe clear your browser cache?

^^ Thanks for the tip. I'm at the house of a relative and I'm currently using her computer while keeping an eye on her kids. Lets just say the computer itself and the software is a bit dated.

Not only was I surprised with Vee's dancing, but the kid looks big and strong. It surprised me when I saw him, physically he looks like he's ready to step in and go up against the bigger guards in the Big East. Thompson and Sims look very very skinny, sims worries me in particular
