The wild thing about it is that a bunch of growm men start to speculate on the character of kids without knowing much about the situation at all.

It's amusing to me that whenever a recruit we really want chooses a different school that, somehow, dirty tricks must be involved. Could it be that the kid just wanted to go to the school he chose? Hush, you may be witch hunted for this! ;D

Torn ligaments in thumb and likely out for at least next 3 months according to ZagsBlog.

I was hoping to never think about this thread/recruitment again. Oh well.

Is there really any chance Shabazz will not be in the lineup when GTown plays UCLA on Nov.19th? Could UCLA get the book thrown at them since they are already skating on thin ice?

UCLA is not on this ice, rather its their coach who is. That said, UCLA is a dirty program who like Kentucky has just not been caught.

Ok. So I'll do it. I almost apologize for this but...I assume Kyle goes pro but if he transfers, will we get in the mix and should we?

NO, he had an atrocious year at UCLA. Not to mention he can't shoot. I would take Greg and Cameron over Anderson at this point

Love SloMo. Live in West LA and have seen him many times. While it won't happen I'd love to have all 6'9 of him. Early word is Shaka as a target. UCLA with Shaka would be scary. I mentioned a while ago on another board that Howland is hated out here by AAU community and local players.

Just curious, because I cover the Pac-12 for a living and he was the second best freshman in that conference behind Jahii Carson. He may not be able to shoot, but his basketball IQ was off the charts. He can score, and he's a far better rebounder than I thought he would be. Put it this way. If Kyle Anderson were a Hoya, we would still be playing.

yeah we would...A lineup of kels, bril, Otto, Kyle and Nate would've made a huge difference. Kyle is a true point forward and would've gotten us into the offense and slowed the game down and gotten people shots. He would've taken so much pressure off Otto, we could play Kels and DSR off the ball more, and no way those bigs would've rebounded against us the way they did....Trust, Kyle would've made an absolute monstrous difference
