Poetic justice. Maybe UCLA will need to play a pseudo road game as opposed to a pseudo home game.

Pitt got a cakewalk to the Final Four, except maybe UCLA. And they're a six.
If Dixon can't get them past the Sweet Sixteen with this draw, maybe there really is something to the talk.

Louisville could have the pleasure of playing Ohio State in Dayton Ohio. While that worked out ok for us, not the best reward for the #1 overall seed in the country. I can't express how much of an oversight that is. I mean, its a home game for OSU. How can that possibly be rationalized?

But really, beating Cuse in NYC is probably harder than beating OSU in Dayton

Kansas - West Viginia potential 2nd round game in Minn. on Sunday would match KenPom #11 vs. KenPom #8. Guess the committee doesn't look at KenPom.

It ends up that the Hoyas beat a number one seed and a number two seed that was close to being a number one seed. Sad.

Precedent? sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=284000013Pittsburgh to Dayton = 256 miles Columbus to Dayton = 71 miles (For the record, DC to Raleigh is 277, Davidson NC to Raleigh is 158) The NCAA isn't supposed to do that...I swear there's a rule about it in the manual.

We beat St John's twice, we are probably in the tournament. The Big East teams all got 6 seed or better so obviously the Committee held the Big East in high regard. They had Maryland as a 10 seed so they obviously would have viewed that as a high quality win. All the so called bubble teams for the SEC weren't bubble teams at all. Florida, Kentucky, Auburn and South Carolina weren't even close to getting into the tournament. Makes me very sad!

If you were told on the night of November 30 that 6 of the 8 teams in the Old Spice Classic would be in the NCAA Tournament at the end of the season...

Whoa, the field this year is really weak. The "toughest" bracked this year would probably be considered the easiest the that 2 or 3 years. Didn't really realize it until you see it all in front of you in brackets.

Louisville looks like our best chance to make the Final 4. Uconn's missing dyson, Pitt always chokes and can't win with out blair who's bound to get into foul trouble, cuse has to be mentally worn out. I just don't trust Nova to make it that far. Marquette hasn't won since james went down i wouldn't be surprised if they lost in the first round. WV can make some noise but not that far.

I love Pitt's draw for them. I don't see a team before North Carolina that can really challenge them if they can keep Blair on the court. I actually hope Blair gets some "star" treatment on the foul calls. He's earned it, and the tournament is better when the best players are on the floor, not on the bench.
