The most important recruit has been Greg. Remember, he was the #1 player in the country at one point. He has the tools to run this thing spectacularly and will be a top 5 pick when he's done.

If Hoyas keep Greg, and add Latavious Williams-this is a better TEAM. Key is/will be what Greg decides--and it'll be with more thought that is for certain.

memphis has scott drew on their list. if he goes there it will be interesting to see how that would affect Latavious' decision.

So with that we could have just added a couple if not more schools to his list? Baylor, Memphis, Kentucky?

well latavious already had baylor and memphis on his list. calimari was recruiting him so kentucky becomes a possibility. But thing is that memphis has ALOT of $$ and they want to make a splash. Drew is low on their list. they will look at big boys like pitino, dixon, floyd, pearl first.

makes sense. i'm just saying does this give baylor another extra boost simply for the press, since they were behind us and memphis for his services.

doubt he goes to UK, they are already stacked and likely taking some of the Memphis recruits with them. If anything it elminates Memphis or Baylor if Drew ends up @ Memphis. I've got a good feeling on this one, assuming he qualifies.

when they say qualify is that SAT score or grade issues? just curious... bumping my question from awhile ago.... anyone? i guess it would make more sense if it was SAT? Shouldn't he have found out my now if he got a good enough score? I forget when the SAT's are taken....geez didn't think i was THAT old!

Shouldn't he have found out my now if he got a good enough score? I forget when the SAT's are taken....geez didn't think i was THAT old! It's probably a combo of the two, because qualifying depends on both GPA and standardized test score. I don't know if he's taken the SAT/ACT or not, but what he needs to qualify on the SAT/ACT depends on his grades. The higher the GPA, the lower the SAT/ACT score. So if he's taken the SAT/ACT already, it might just be a matter of getting a certain GPA this semester so his GPA is high enough. If he hasn't taken the SAT/ACT, then it depends on his score there. The SAT had a test in January, had one March 14th, has another May 2nd and a final one June 6th. You get your score back about one month after you take the test (and the March 14th scores should be up April 7th) I know this because I googled.

Having just gone through the sat thing with one of my kids i believe the tests are given just about every month. who knows what kind of score he will need combined with grades with the sliding scale and the requirements from the NCAA clearinghouse. Hopefully we will have an answer soon but we may get a commitment and still have to sweat eligibilty over the summer. I hope thats not the case but this kid may be worth the gamble. Hate to speculate but he could already have the SAT score and just needs to finish up strong at the school he is prepping at. we will all find out soon enough. sound like he is worth the wait.

Does anyone else find it interesting that Calipari and Floyd are on the move 2 days apart in same year BOTH programs are getting investigated by the NCAA? Just saying-the scum loves being on the move when NCAA is coming to town.
Latavious battle between Drew at Memphis only helps Hoyas. You want to play in C-USA or Big East/Big XII? I know where I'd rather be if I were a player and Scott Drew is a lot more enticing to play for in Big XII then at Memphis.

I heard on ESPN radio last night that Pitino said he will 100% be back at L'Ville next year.

there is absolutely no reason for Pitino to go to memphis....he's already got a big time big east program headed in the right direction...why go back to 8th grade CYO? I guess money but seems to me like he's doing just fine at the ville. Don't see it happening
