This was such a satisfying win. I can't WAIT to listen to Chris Knoche on the Sports Reporters this week. LOL What are the odds they'll even mention it? Someone might want to take the sharp object away from Andy Pollin after today. LOL...They can't not mention Georgetown and Maryland playing. I know it's a Maryland-leaning Sports show, but I would hope they would give the game 5 good minutes.

I love that 99% of the Twerps posts are putting the blame on anyone but the coach and team.

What's funny is if we just would have been up by 6-10 and pulled away in the latter half of the 2nd like the Zags, Maryland would definitely have had reason to feel pretty good about its tourney. It would have gone 1-2 versus top 16 teams on a neutral floor. Not bad really for being unranked.
But it was just so embarrassing. Nobody wants to get on the plane thinking "Well, it was 7-4 at one point. That's something to build on, I guess."

I remember when all the Maryland fans were downplaying it when Austin Freeman chose the Hoyas, saying it wasn't that big a deal because they landed Jeff Jones (who then decommitted and committed to UVA, and is nothing special).
Bet that tunes changed a little bit now that Free went ahead and lit them up.

After this spiritual clensing, I'm ready to bury the hatchet. Suggestion: We immediately ink a 3-year deal with UMCP. 2009 - Comcast 2010 - McDonough. 2011 - Comcast again, but they give Georgetown 25% of the tickets.

I can't imagine they have ANY interest in playing us again next year after this beatdown. Their team probably own't be too much better next year, and ours--if a couple of key guys dont head for the NBA--could be outstanding. Gary's an idiot but I really doubt he's dumb enough to invite us to his homecourt just to get thumped again. I'm sure Feinstein and others will still try to say it's our fault.

Did someone bring up Gtown first before his response? Because if not then his paranoia is taking over again. He is way too defensive.

I kept waiting for the well-we-were-up-by-30, but-this-will-probably-end-as-a-15-point-win moment. It never came.

Hey am I the only one upset that it was 75-38 and we started to let them back in it over the last 90 seconds?

I was watching the game thinking "There is something Gary can do to stop this right? Something to at least try, right?" It's the same feeling (except vastly less exciting) i had watching that UNC OT thinking how it was so strange that Roy Williams never called a time out. It was a really odd, pleasant, gleeful feeling.

no chance those femmebots will agree to play us. their scout board is disgusting; many of their poster are racist donkeys so it is going to be fun to read their musings.

I wish the score had reflected the real disparity between the teams. If we hadn't stopped scoring at the end we would have beaten them by at least 40.
The funny thing is that their scout board is trying to blame the refs for the loss.

Bet that tunes changed a little bit now that Free went ahead and lit them up. Not like it's getting much better for them either. I realize I'm tempting a glass house situation here b/c somewhat highly ranked recruit Henry Sims isn't exactly lighting the world on fire either...but... I'm sure Maryland fans can't be thrilled that Jin Soo Kim's biggest contribution to the game tonight was getting an offensive putback over Nikita during garbage time.
