BTW, Jeff had 19 and 7 to lead his team in a loss to Sacramento, according to ESPN Jeff Green led Oklahoma City, formerly the Seattle SuperSonics, with 19 points, including eight in the fourth quarter when the Thunder pulled within one point.

vs. the Bulls he got to see his old friend from Pitt... Aaron Gray. "Hello Big Roy"! Aaron must be bummed he has to face Roy again... and again.. and again! Aaron Gray is in trouble when he faces Roy. Speaking of old nemeses, I can't wait to see the first time Roy faces Greg Oden in the NBA and outplays him just like the Final Four without having to worry about the refs fouling him out and being on Oden's jock. That will be the day that finally the analysts realize that Roy is a legit NBA center. Really don't want to see him play Dwight Howard, though--that man will become one of the premiere players in the league this year and he will make Roy look silly, just like he'll do to everybody else.

Aaron Gray is in trouble when he faces Roy. Despite Bulls fan dismissing Gray at first because they felt he was slow and too unathletic he may be turning into the best big man on that team. He had his share of bumps his rookie season but he really started to show some true promise during the summer league games. Right now he is more effective in the paint than Noah and he is an above average rebounder in the NBA.

Um...what? Throw in a chance to smack down Warrick and I would say the Big Stiff is getting off to a good start. Just needs to take on Oden and shut up all the critics.

Nice to see Roy doing well.
As an aside, when did OJ Mayo become middle-aged (he looks like he is about 35 years old in those pictures)?

"I think the weakest thing I have is the running thing. I think I'm adapting to it and my teammates are helping me with it."
I know what he's saying, but still, that just sounds funny.

I'm glad that Indiana fans are taking to Roy and hope anyone who is from there doesn't get offended by this--oh who am I kidding--WTF do those people do--live in a cave? Mike Wells the writer says "Hibbert was known as a defensive center at Georgetown". WHEN? You could argue that Roy Hibbert is the most talented offensive center in terms of skill set at Georgetown. I think Ewing was most talented offensive player-but Roy has edge in terms of passing skills on Pat--so an argument can be made along with fact Roy didn't possess Pat's athleticism.
Just wondering if people in Indiana choose to not follow the rest of CBB or they just choose to not pay attention to what happens or they employ people who don't understand what makes a good offensive player?
You all can return to the lovefest they are having with Roy--but this link really had me puzzled as to how ignorant they are when judging players games/skills.

RDF, you're really surprised that an NBA writer in Indiana incorrectly characterized Roy's college game, when College Basketball Analysts who saw Roy play dozens of times could never accurately describe his game either?

Dude, I wrote this guy (who has had his doubts about Roy since he first got drafted) about this in an email months ago. And I've been trying to tell some Pacers fans about Roy's strengths and weaknesses since the summer. I'll give the fans a break for not knowing about what players can do. But for so many journalists and bloggers to be so bleeping lazy and keep making claims that Hibbert is raw and underdeveloped on offense but is more advanced on defense....well its absurd. If I had a dollar for every person who compared him to Mutombo. That's an insult to both players. Hibbert is not the defender or the rebounder that Deke is. But he is more skilled. His strength is his offense at this point of his development.
