Just a reminder, Jeff vs. AI on the four letter network @10:30 Eastern, for those who will be awake at that time(or who wish to record).

Good thing the Series is over, otherwise the tip-off of that game would conflict with the bottom of the 2nd inning...

One of the best parts about living on the west coast is the start times of sporting events...oh yeah, plus the weather and the ladies. Suckers.

Yeah, but when Al Gore's swath of destruction hits, you're all gonna' be underwater..... ...oh, wait. So are we. DAMMIT! Stupid ManBearPig! (Another reason Minneapolis is better than New Jersey, wherever that thread disappeared to.) I'd love nothing more tonight than a Jeff Green rejection of Carmella (who will then proceed to back 50 feet away, trembling and cowering).

Is Jeff playing? Didn't he sprain his ankle?

FYI... "Meanwhile, Jeff Green, the fifth overall pick in June's draft out of Georgetown who was acquired in a deal that sent Ray Allen to Boston, is less likely to play in the opener. He's also suffering from a sprained ankle and appeared to be favoring it in practice Monday." sports.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=271031007

I have not been able to watch the game, unfortunately, but I hear Jeff did just that on his very first play.

"More spinach for Popeye!"
And wouldn't Carmella throw a punch first before running back 50 feet away, trembling and cowering?

Jeff looks really good from my vantage point, although 0-3 from the sin stripe isn't going to cut it. He's a better FT shooter than that though, so I'm not worried.

my bad vcjack. very good episode.
FYI, you can purchase your own Jeff Green (swingman or authentic) jersey @ seattleteamshop.com (None available at Eastbay or NBA Store) That's about the best I've felt in a while spending almost all of my daily post-tax salary.

Durant is 3 for 14 at the half. Wow. And yet the Sonics are only down by one.

I'm not surprised, but Jeff looks almost bored with this kind of offense. That's not saying he's too good for it or the league (far from it). But it's so much less team-oriented, he seems out of sync. Just a lot of plays where's he's kind of lingering on the other side of the paint from where the ball is.
