Settle down people. Remember the suggestion just 3 days ago that Patrick is a guy who would not set an announcement date and suddenly pop out a random announcement?
What could be more random then sneaking quietly in behind another 5 star recruit's announcement??

Also why would he have waited this long to commit if that was his plan? I feel like he want red to see if a better alternative could emerge. He waited until after Easter in order to avoid an extremely awkward family holiday dinner.๐

If you are gonna be a pro, you go to the place that will best help you develop.
Your dad wants only the best for you. He will understand.

Here's a thought Duval - you and Wahab left the Hoyas. His/your choice, no problem with that. So just stop worrying about what Hoya fans are saying. Problem solved. It's like breaking up with your girlfriend but following her social media to see what she and her friends are saying about you. Just move on to College Park.

Ryan seems to be a great young man, mature and focused. Not at all worried about how he will fit with his teammates. Lol..if you donโt see the possibility of a red flag here, I donโt know what to tell you, except that you may find sand in your ears. I must be missing the genre of tweets of great players talking trash to their future teammates. Well hopefully his teammates aren't part of a generation of snowflakes that curl up in the fetal position if someone posts something on social media that they don't like. I can tell you that back when the Hoyas were a national power (too many years ago of course), players regularly called each other out, arguments verging on blows in practice were not uncommon. If you didn't work your arse off every single day your teammates would come down on you like a ton of bricks. Seems to me that Ewing is trying to focus on recruiting kids that are tough enough to withstand a tweet challenging them to work.

It would be a bizarre result that someone who has played 4 years at a school cannot transfer and get a fifth year, but someone who has only played 3 years can transfer, play right away, and get 2 more years. I'm pretty sure they can Frazier... Blair can put his name in the portal & transfer to another school, the only difference is he will cost his new school a scholarship, that's my understanding of it... I think you are right - it is just a bizarre result.

As far as I know, he hasn't signed yet. I feel like it would've been promoted at least somewhat by either Aminu or Shawn Harmon. And when the rest of the class signed in the Fall, Georgetown posted about it on their social media. I think the next signing day is some time in April FWIW Correct, the signing periods are November and April, so Aminu would not have been able to sign an NLI yet since he verbally committed in December. April 14 first day of spring signing period.

No comparison on level of recruit, but Frazier Fanatic's namesake was a birthday present signee for me on May 9th one year, long, long ago. We'll all be really impatient by then, but I'll take Baldwin on 5/9/21, please Sounds good to me - although that leaves HoyaTalk with 5 weeks of arguing, teeth gnashing and wild speculation. In other words, business as usual.

That's a very old response when someone tells you old news - just teasing you because the article you linked was linked a few hours ago farther back on this thread. Haha! I'm glad I could prove that better late than never is a logical fallacy in some cases. Thought I'd definitely take Pat Baldwin late, rather than never. Would love to see Ewing's grind pay off like that. Agree 100%. Would be a big boost for the program.

Same way your folks came up w HFSEE Yeah that's a little different. No one wants to write out that name when responding and it's only easy to shorten using the acronym. HM is giving himself a Hoyatalk signature. Cool with me....๐ I wanted to do the same with FF but I presume the NCAA has copyrighted it.

In other news - Lindbergh made it! Not sure what that means. Lindbergh was before my time . Have no idea if these hilltop hoops guys are reliable at all, just saw an article on Baldwin and shared.
