Two honorable mentions from Victor- one from 1995 that he missed, maybe against Morgan State; but he was one on four and made an absurd play to get to the hoop and attempt a tomahawk while getting fouled.
The other one was against Pacific or Cleveland State (I think) in late 1996. He dunked and then had a circus-like swing from the rim that somehow did not result in a T.

Except that Nichols' 360 came in garbage time against a lowly team. It Editeded off his coach and helped put him in a doghouse he never really left. So, there is that; but yes, he did execute a 360 in a game. I am fine with adding it to the list.
Murray's dunk yesterday was a great play, period. Yeah, it stinks that we lost; but that was a legitimate highlight-reel play. There is no reason to downplay it.

YES - it was Jared Dudley in the second round of the 2007 NCAAs- I was there. Also a great put-back dunk by Jeff in that game! I thought about those dunks- but my emotional attachment to my hatred of BC and the ACC, any my love of that 2007 team, may be a factor. Objectively, I believe the poster in perhaps the final regular-season game was a better dunk.

I cannot imagine a universe in which I was not looking forward to a Hoya game. 'Nova? Even more so. Cannot wait for 6:30 PM EST.

It is amazing that FSU is that bad, given that they were pretty good not long ago and have strong coaching.

It will only get worse. With Villanova next and a trip to hot MU, there is no way to stop it now. I would hope that the locker room was tense after that game!

What is wrong about that quote? I thought the Hoyas did compete last night and showed good effort. The turnovers were a major issue. We did well on the boards but did not convert.

Tough, tough loss last night. We had a real chance to win.
We cannot put together good offense and defense at the same time. I disagree with those who got a bad vibe from the team last night, though. I thought they competed and wanted to win. They need to figure out how to close games out.
On to Butler. Hoya Saxa and Happy New Year to all. As bad as 2022 has been as a year for Hoya basketball, I cannot imagine life without being a Hoya fan. I hope the same is true for all of you.

Again- Primo is not a ball hog. He has a lot of work to do, but he does share the ball. It was bizarre that he had some of those early turnovers. DePaul really blitzed him and it worked.

Big game for the Hoyas. I want to see a ton of intensity, a sustained effort, and a win. GO HOYAS Like you hoping for a win tonight. Like most others, not expecting it. The streak has to end sometime, and I sure hope it is tonight, to provide a glimmer of hope heading into 2023.

I do not understand this "now or never" mentality. So, if the Hoyas get better in 2023-2024, that will be okay...but if it happens in say, 2026-2027, then it will be "too late" and ___ will have happened? I know of zero support for that proposition.

People are crazy- Holloway is in the first half of his first season as a high-major coach. The time to evaluate him has not even begun.

If we make a change, I prefer to hire someone young and commit to a 5-10 year rebuild. Work on relationships with high schools in DC as well as places like Baltimore and Richmond and beyond. Bring energy and a new look. Give him time to do his thing.
