If Grant Hill is such a lover of Georgetown why didn't he go there? Maybe he wasn't a recruited.

If they give him one more minute than he has now I'm out. So, you're with him until the end of his contract? No, I'm against that assuming it runs past this year (We don't really know, do we)? I would like to see him replaced as early as possible. But, as opposed as I may be to it, I can understand allowing him to run out the balance of his contract. But to extend, re-sign, or do anything else to prolong his tenure past his present end date would, to me, be unconscionable, require the most tortured of logic, and put the best interests of the University other than first. In that case, after almost 40 years, I would cease to be a follower of Georgetown basketball. p.s. I like the guy as a person and am proud of the way he has represented the school. But enough is enough.

Exactly how aggressively did we pursue Donte DiVincenzo?

Hart did what Hart usually does. What must have been stupefying to the 'nova fans was that he did not get the call as he usually does. Nor did he deserve it. If you know any of them plan on hearing them complain about it for a long time.

The possibility of Hoiberg is very interesting to me. Is there any foundation for thinking, other than wishfully, that it could happen?

Question for the haters and also the dislikers: Suppose JTIII convinces Tremont to still come to Georgetown Suppose JTIII convinces Trey Mourning to stay Suppose JTIII decides to take $300,000 of his salary for next year and allow the University to keep the rest. Fantasy? Maybe. How would all of the haters and dislikers feel in that scenario? I'd think Trump would be resigning later in the day.

The administration does not think it has to make a decision so there is nothing to announce. Bingo. After 307 pages, this sentence summarizes it perfectly. We fans might want to think/hope otherwise, but Jack DeGioia is losing zero sleep over this. If that's the case maybe someone else needs to move on. We're becoming a laughingstock.

Pretty sure you could plot our record out on the X/Y axes and the downturn would be the last two years. This isn't rocket science. Even an SFS major could probably do that. Like this? With Waters gone you can push that red line further down and that blue projection for 2017-18 might be a little optimistic. Can you add a "Head Coach Compensation" line?

It sounds like Ewing is giving III credit for "rich history" of which he was not a part. III's own history is not as rich as all that. NC State all over Keatts right now.

If the current staff has/d the ability to coach them up out of these deficiencies why has it not been addressed by now and why should the future be different?

Crean was coach of the B1G last year and got canned. WHen you are making this much money, results matter. The pressure is getting stronger IMO not weaker. Crean and his family have zero connection to IU. What should be the limit, if there is one, of what this family connection buys you?

My apologies for the "d" word, but it was pun intended. Screen name was partially designed to see who knows what. You win. I could go on and on about that, and make a case that it was not-a-really-so-painful-part of the transformation that was Georgetown b'ball. An iconic game at the old Spectrum that should not be forgotten because it was an (L). I enjoyed the pun hence the That was a long night in Philly. The Iowa game was in the afternoon. I distinctly remember that because it was broad daylight when I punched that Iowa fan through the open window of his car as I was leaving the game.

Why do you assume there is a buyout? The one thing everyone here seems able to agree on is that no one knows what is in the contract. But, as has been alluded to by others, David Falk is a shark. So look for the terms to be quite favorable to his client.
