No team with a losing record is in. Worst is 17-15 Clemson.

If you played H.S. ball dust off the Chucks; plenty of room for walk-ons.

Maybe something should be inferred from the fact that Ewing wants an NBA head job but can't get one.

Ewing in an end-game situation vs. Self, Izzo, Pitino, K? No.

It is largely the abysmal post season performance over a number of years. Without that I think most could stomach the last two years. The "justification" or explanation is those two things taken together.

A statement that he will be back and "is no lame duck" is, in essence, a statement that he is back for more than one year. If he is brought back (say, for a year) without further comment a "lame duck" is quite probably exactly what he is. Neither of those scenarios is optimal, in my view, for recruiting. If he is gone now he is not a "lame duck" and it will be clear where things stand.

If JTIII goes then do PEJr and Jon Wallace follow? Likely to have no choice. I suspect it is not a significant part of the calculus but his departure may mean the loss and disenfranchisement of two younger basketball alumni. Jt3 isn't going anywhere. Hold on! Are you privy to inside information? Spill it. Everyone is anxious to know.

LJ's decision as to whether or not to return could be a good indicator of an insider's view of the state of things.

Presumably he has a contract which will be in effect after this year. No one in any official capacity has even discussed the subject of retention/dismissal. Maybe they just do it the Georgetown way and say nothing. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. If they are disposed to keep him why (playing devil's advocate) would they go out of their way to address something they demonstrably believe is a non-issue? And, if they did, would anyone expect anything less than a ringing endorsement?

My answers in bold below. Do we know: -how far out his contract is guaranteed? We don't know. -at what per? We don't know. -last time it was redone? Based on public articles, he had a 6 year deal expire in 2013. That's why many speculate he likely re-signed for at least another six years. -who,in the world, negotiated it for GU? We don't know and likely never will.Sorry if the answers are meant to be common knowledge. Thanks very much.
