SH might have gotten a piece of the shot. They're not looking at that.

We could use some bad hombres. They're not allowed into the country anymore.

No doubt Ewing has his strengths; motivation comes to mind. End game strategy clearly is not one. There would be no shame in his having a strategist on the bench. Other teams do. I really wonder what function/s many of our assistants serve.

Going forward, if we're going to foul can we try to do it in the same county as our defensive basket?

Excellent defensive effort anyway, I thought.

The only possible reason for Dickerson to have been in the game would have been to receive the pass, speed it up the floor (which there was ample time for) and get it to a shooter. Good plan. He's in the frontcourt? For what? Game over when we had no one in the backcourt. Cooley had to love seeing that.

Also Mosely was in bounds way before the ball was touched. So that's a turnover anyway.

These hypotheticals about Ewing in three years are not worth a response. Like the team, I think PE is improving game by game. However, It is way to early to judge his peformance as a coach. PERIOD. It's so nice when one person is able to determine, for all of us, that a question is decided. What a gift.

Obviously we do have enough to beat a team like Xavier on the road. Because absent some mental errors such as lane violation, fouling 3 point shooters (twice), letting chippy Macura sucker you into a foul when you just came up with a big possession, etc. it would have happened. None of these was an issue of depth.

You play defense there early or late in the shot clock. We had been getting stop after stop. There is no argument for giving the foul.

Before the JT Jr. era we wore white at home, as was standard for all teams, and navy on the road. He introduced the lighter color. The story goes that after many alums saw that color in high profile games viz. '82 National Championship there were complaints that they did not represent our true colors. In response, Jr. effectively said "You want blue and gray? I'll give you blue and gray". And that is how the gray home uni's were born.
