Nate Lubick's primary contribution, aside from making Georgetown basketball safe for white guys again, was pure meanery JT III missed on Lubick. He could have been a Troy Murphy but JT III just saw him as the next Julian Vaughn. He coulda been a contendah! He coulda been somebodeh!

Had no idea Nate Lubick would be so polarizing lol. Jabril Trawick was another one of my favorite unsung heroes. Also great at the meanery. Jabril Trawick unlocked levels of meanery not seen since the Dark Ages Playing with a broken jaw just added to the lore.

Mount St. Mary’s is horrendous. But that hasn’t stopped us from losing games in the last, so winning by 26 is better th an other possible outcomes. Kenpom only had us as 11 point favorites, so this is welcome.

...even if it's just cramps exactly why there is no need for starters to be in at this point...play the second unit...

Totally agreed. No need for the starters/high usage players to be out there especially if they’re just going to be jacking up 3s.

Not saying shot chuck as he was forced to last year but we’re going to need Epps scoring from the perimeter like this consistently

Come on Ed, put in the bench. 3 starters in and up 30 with 3 to go.

I really want to see McKenna get minutes and run time to knock the rust off

His 2” inch vertical didn’t help matters.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a team miss as many open shots as MSM tonight. Also not sure I’ve ever seen a coach not empty his bench in a game he was up 25+ for the last 10 minutes. On to the next one.

Not often in modern era of basketball that you can shoot 6-20 from 3 and still win by 28. We are not gonna be able to survive shooting the 3 this poorly.

A few observations for the folks at home and the 73 people in attendance :
Good signs - fewer turnovers, fouls, more points in paint, more focus and energy defensively
Sorber and Fielder - some synergy. I like it, esp if outside shooting is poor
Sorber gets position, passing, calm & patience. Effects play at both ends. 2nd double-double. Love what's possible when he's on the floor
Back doors and second chances for MSM - wish Gtown did more of that. Too many easy baskets from in close for MSM
Offense should go through Sorber/Julius 90% of time
Take Epps and Mack out with 6-7 minutes left. Mulready and Williams were solid together.- let Curtis & McKenna lay
Like the pressing we did - some good different looks.
late in 2nd half - Julius gets ball in post, passes to guard for shot, rebound Epps. Passed up a rushed 3 and passed it back into Julius who found a wide open Mack in corner for 3 attempt. Want to see more of that
I think we'll get our footing in time for BE play; I also think we have to bring our defensive play up 3-4 notches if we want to compete against just about every team in the conference.
Impressed with Kayvaun, Caleb
Fielder coming along - some good footwork and movement evident. Also some rough edges - fouls, missed coverage
Lucky MSM was shooting poorly
5/18 3-point shooting, several just chucked up. Again, Sorber and Julius need to touch ball on offensive sets
Much needed bounce back. Build on this. Nail down the 8-9 man rotation and most effective combos and give them time these next OOC games.
