Similar to the first game—poor defense and a red hot opponent to start game; improved defense as the half wore on. Still a lot of warts. Copley’s decision to do a full line change was effective in getting back into it.
Would like to see us come out strong in the second half and maybe put some distance.

8 second chance points for such a small team is really unacceptable.

Fielder still not on bench. The game announcers said (at the beginning of the game) he was out with an illness.

8 of 10 players scored.
Wonder if the Fielder illness is what gave McKenna some minutes. McKenna looked aggressive offensively is his few minutes.

Agree, lots of potential on this team and will take a little time to sort it out. Didn't we hear that last year, and the year before, and the year before that, etc., etc., etc...

Just watching the team this year shows a level of basketball athleticism that is so much higher than the last several years.

You can crap on Epps all you want, but I thought he played an excellent offensive first half looking to move the ball and he was money on the last play. Infinitely preferable to have him in a catch and shoot context as per last shot of the 1st half - it's when he's trying to create space on his own for his jumper that begets frustration.

Mack has really been poor in decision making. Burks also not really contributing much. Team is desperate for a shooter.

I love Burks size but how does he score, needs to just concentrate on defense and rebounding.

Agree, but he has been very much under control on offense today so far.

Epps is really off today, glad we're no longer a one man show.
