Hard not to be excited to get this kid. They won by 7 but Roman Catholic didn't have their best player. Sorber had 23pts like 13 reb and a bunch of assists cause he was being swarmed.
Interviewed after the game. Seems like a great kid. Commentators love him as a person and they've known him. I think he can help change the culture.

Good court vision, unselfish and good FT stroke. Little thing that I noticed which may seem like a small thing but the young man took the effort to dry off the headphones after his interview before handing them back.

The guy interviewing him earlier in the season was talking about just the change from the beginning of last year to now is astronomical. How he saw Thomas take on the responsibility of getting in better shape and hitting FTs. Before he was like a 50-60%-ish shooter and now is an 75-80% one.

12 points after 3.
Very sloppy disjointed game.
He has totally discombobulated Prep’s drive game.

What an ending. Sorber plays on. Williams what a clutch shot. He's going to be a good 1 for Florida Gulf Coast.

But the timeout with 8 seconds left. Knew Sorber was gonna get doubled. Used him as an opposite block post decoy to get his 2nd best player an open elbow jumper for the win. Beautifully executed.

Sorber is very talented and will be fun to watch at GU.
Prep’s coach should never have allowed them to hold the ball until 8 seconds. Foul one of them with 15 or 20 to go.

Would have been malpractice to send them to the line in a tie game. Guards though should've been much more aggressive pressuring the ball. Letting them waste the final minute basically undeterred was a poor choice though, I agree.
