Good Afternoon Mr. Sorber
Welcome to Georgetown Hoyas! We are extremely blessed to have you commit to a great University. I am very proud of you introducing your family of support as you made a significant and very valuable decision in your life.
Your basketball skills are impressive and top notch! Your skill set goes well with the current talented team and coaches we have in place. Please continue to work hard because success is written all over you.
👏👏👏

Big congratulations! I watched a snippet of a video, and he seems to be the complete package down low: dancing feet, uses both hands around the basket, he can jump and has great energy! A tremendous pickup for Georgetown. I can't wait to see them play over the next few years. This is exciting!!

One thing I like about Thomas is I've seen enough games of his to see that while he is mild-mannered on the court, he does have moments where he'll turn into a dog and you'll see a real fire in him.
He's also got a college ready body. He's a not a skinny, pogo-stick type kid who relies on pure athleticism and jumping. He's not that kind of athlete, so it looks like he's focused on crafting a nice arsenal of post moves, where he can finish with either hand. He does have athleticism, it's just not 'jump out of the gym' type athleticism. Cooley does really well historically with these types, examples being Crosswell, Nate Watson and Bentil.
Congratulations Coach Cooley, and congratulations to Thomas!

Congrats to Thomas, his family, Coach Cooley and staff! Welcome aboard! Hopefully you reclassify. Why are we wishing this? Let the kid enjoy what he expected to be his last year in the preps/high school ranks. We should not want him to skip that year just because our coaching staff has not gotten a big from the portal.

Awesome get and he seems as if he has the muscle and size to play in college already, will be interesting to see if he reclassifies. I imagine it would be dependent on a combination of things such as available one year bigs who are late grad transfers or once they are done "testing the waters" like that NDSU guy (he would be a senior next year and idk how much draft love he would get coming from a mid major so could be a good one year stop here). Either way I am happy as I am sure it is an active discussion between Cooley, the staff, and Thomas about what is the best course for all involved.

Averaging 10.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.3 bpg, 54.9% fgp, 63.4% ftp in EYBL games for Team Final so far this spring. nikeeyb.com/standingsNot sure those are re-class worthy numbers, but definitely a very good big man get in the class of 2024. Congrats to Thomas and the Hoyas coaching staff!

Congrats to Thomas and the Hoyas coaching staff! I think that is why he is waiting until after the Peach Jam this summer to fully decide and commit to one year or the other. If he can dominate and roll against other '23s then it's totally up to him, I just hope he chooses what's best for him and he gets good advice at home and from Cooley.
