Apologize if this wasn’t meant as a shot at the kid. He hasn’t played a minute and he’s being compared to an all time terrible hoya. I love his game think he’s going to be our starting pg this year. Definitely wasn’t a shot but I can see why you might think that lol Primo was good at the midrange J but just took too many of them

Kind of surprised he's not getting more lift, but agreed that the base form is good and he's got excellent size, so lift on the jumper may not mean as much as it would for shorter PGs. Everyone : giddy about Hoya practices being open to the public for the first time ever also everyone: ability to nit pick every aspect of a 25 second video clip GTFOHWTBS

Here I was spending so much time this spring and early summer looking for YouTube highlights of Rowan. This video was uploaded at least one year ago. LOL. This is a bit crazy but a cool concept nevertheless.
Please no debates about whether this is or is not a legit example of Rowan's capabilities, guys.

Loving the not-too-high/not too low, down to business, court awareness, no-look passes, inner sense about this game we love -- really looking forward to watching him on the court this year!

I hated when GU players (Jagan et al.) made one-hand passes because it usually led to stupid turnovers. I’ll make the exception for Rowan.

I like that Jayden Epps reposted this on his IG so they obviously are getting along.

How good can this kid be? What’s his comp? We never have had a guard like him. He really knows already at this stage how to run the pick and roll/pop game very well. Plays at his own pace. He isnt the type of guard that blows by people but his handle is incredible and he can shoot it.

Rowan is quite a bit smaller obviously. I'd probably go with a less athletic Michael Carter Williams.

I would say a slower Tyler Kolek with a better 3 point shot and more size.

To me, Brumbaugh is an early favorite to be getting 30 minutes a game by the time we are in the thick of it with Big East play. Does anybody else on our team have anything lose to his ball handling abilities?

It was a different game back then….but he could shoot. He shot 49% from the field one year and was a career 40% 3 point shooter.
