I'm sure there's a USC Upstate fan posting about Mozone's shooting problems too Exactly - it's tough on most kids when they move up a level.

So Carey deserves ridicule because he went to Maryland? Plus it could easily be argued that Gtown closed the door on him while he was weighing his pro options

But Wahab was not a 8th year graduate captain and role model like Don Carey. He was a kid who made a big mistake and that was wrong but he admitted his mistake and came back. He has a lot to do to regain our trust. Incidentally it was supposedly Louis Orr who reached out to/or was reached out by Wahab which is what brought him back here. So I’m sure Q is taking coach Orr’s death really hard along with Coach Ewing.

Carey decided he had one shot to improve his situation and took it. What’s wrong with that?

Not sure what is up at Pacific but Beard is coming off the bench lately with reduced minutes. Seems odd since it looked like he was playing well. Same with JB at Eastern Michigan although I haven't checked the past one or two if he is back in the starting lineup. TJ has cracked the starting up at Lafayette but he was playing starting minutes off the bench anyway so not really much difference.

Totally normal to have an entire team’s worth of former players suiting up for other NCAA teams . . .

"Our most disappointing omission from the midseason all-conference teams is Southeast Missouri’s Kobe Clark. The 6’6 Georgetown transfer brings so much to the Redhawk (5-8) arsenal that we practically feel dirty leaving him off the third team. Clark does not rank in the top thirty among the league’s leading scorers but is the OVC’s third-leading rebounder, is ninth in assists, tied for fifth in steals, is playing the second most minutes per game, and is the top blocker of shots. The St. Louis native is a defensive stopper and an energy producer. Clark has a serious shot at landing on the OVC’s end-of-season all-newcomer team." bustingbrackets.com/2022/12/28/ovc-basketball-2022-23-midseason-conference-team-selections/

Headline: Donald Carey snaps out of shooting slump and leads Terrapins past UMBC Don Carey has played college basketball long enough — five seasons plus a transfer sit-out year wedged in between — to feel certain his shot eventually will fall. After a slump of more than a month, it finally did Thursday night for the Maryland graduate transfer. Carey scored a season-high 19 points in the Terrapins’ 80-64 victory over Maryland Baltimore County. Carey scored 16 points in the second half and shot 5 for 7 from beyond the arc to tie a career high for three-pointers made in a game. www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2022/12/29/maryland-mens-basketball-umbc/

We have one in Jordan Riley....and I believe D'Ante Bass would fill that role also for any other coach.

Does posting bad stats from former players help distract you from the massive loss to Butler tonight?

At least Michigan is a likely tournament team. We got waxed by a bad Butler team by 29. What is your endgame Professor? Don Carey isn’t the missing piece to this debacle.
