Admin can move this to Pro & College sports if they so desire, but, well, you know, those who believe that if you're once a Hoya then you are always a Hoya might want to track former players who have moved on here as many only come to HoyaTalk and not the other sub-boards. Too many name below and I may have missed some, but here is what I can determine about the status of recent outbound transfers:
Tyler Beard: Pacific University Tigers, season opens November 7 at Stanford
Collin Holloway: Tulane Green Wave, season opens November 7 v. UMBC, with an exhibition game Nov 2 v. Spring Hill (AL) Worth noting that Collin seems to have played rather will on the teams summer trip to Costa Rica, averaging double figures
Jalin Billingsley: Eastern Michigan Eagles, season opens November 7 v. Wayne State, with an exhibition game Oct 27 v. Grand Valley EMU plays its home games in the George Gervin GameAbove Center and JB will be joined by Emoni Bates on Eagles squad
Tim Ighoefe: California Baptist Lancers, season opens November 7 v. Long Beach State
Donald Carey: UMD Twerps, season opens November 7 v. Niagara
Kobe Clark: SE Missouri University Redhawks, season opens November 7 at USF, with exhibitions today v. Fontbonne and 10/30 v. Aurora Not sure about two exhibition games, but also willing to admit I've never heard of Fontbonne or Aurora, so let them play I guess
Jamari Sibley: UTEP Miners, season opens November 7 at Texas Played in 33 games last year, started 23, averaged 5.3 pts and 4.0 rebs
TJ Berger: Lafayette College (PA), season opens November 7 at University of Miami (FL) Was a USD Torero last year, played in all games and started in 5, averaged 3.1 pts and 1.5 rebs
Chuma Azinge appears to have remained at GU but is no longer a walk on, preferred or otherwise. Jaden Robinson briefly appeared on the roster of Northern Oklahoma, but appears not to have logged any game time. Jaden Harris appears not to have resurfaced after leaving the team mid-season 20-21.
Any others?

Good luck to Gardner- he has some talent and got a raw deal at GU when he was lumped in with others for the 2019 chaos.

Gardner, Walker and Sibley are the ones who seem to be "doing the best" in terms of being at decent programs and getting minutes. I expect the same will be true of Holloway this year. Kind of the opposite of having a coaching tree, but interesting nevertheless.

Is Galen Alexander still at Texas Southern? They don't have the updated roster on their website but he probably has his Covid year left.

And currently I see predictions for Tulane to finish in the top 4 of the AAC as they have had some good continuity that he is joining

Looks like he started but just played poorly and sat the bench. Lead them in TOs which IMO is why he couldn't get on the court here. JB looked good in his first game. I thought he showed promise in spurts last year. Kobe started and was a glue guy. TI played sparingly as a backup. Collin didn't play so must be hurt? TJ played a lot but nothing to note. Sibley nothing special either.

JB has potential. Hope that he is engaged and makes the most of it.

Don Carey on the other hand started for UMD Monday, played 28 minutes, went 1-6 from 3 and ended with 5 pts and a bunch of zeroes - boards, blocks, assists, fouls, TOs, etc

DC another horrible night. If he continues this play he will have a similar experience as Wahab.

Collin Holloway with 25 points in Tulane win over McNeese. Holloway will be our biggest loss. Talented, gutsy, and smart. Would have been a huge asset to this team and by his senior year would have been the natural leader of this team.

TI didn't log any minutes tonight. Not sure if it was DNP - CD or he is out but I would say he just didn't get in after only playing sparingly in the opener.
