"Four players stand out in Paul VI Catholic vs Millennium In the first game of the game of the day of Paul VI against Millennium, four players shined in their owns ways. First, we have to mention the leading scorer in the game in Ben Hammond. The Rhode Island signee isn't known for putting the ball in the hole but his confidence and constant aggressiveness to get downhill paid dividends as he poured in 21-points and added five assists. Alongside him were two other guards that stood out in Darren Harris and Jordan Smith. Harris, a Duke signee, shined in DC last weekend and is continuing to show the expansions he made in his game this off-season. He once was a specialist that would drill shots from three off the catch but now he has developed his handle and his body and has become a better defender and scorer because of it. Harris was getting to his spots, finishing through contact and made several mid-range pull-ups. For Smith, he did his thing on defense by making his matchup work for everything they got. He's an elite defender but also was able to push the ball in transition and slash his way in the half court to contributing 15 points." 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/article/city-of-palms-classic-cooper-flagg-tre-johnson-isaiah-evans-and-others-shine-on-day-one-cooper-flagg-tre-johnson-isaiah-evans-asa-newell-alex-lloyd-223476660/

"BRIGHT FUTURE: Jordan Smith In an event that showcased a number of talented sophomores, Smith shined as brightly as any. His 15-point effort against Arizona’s Millennium High School on Monday afternoon allowed him to showcase his strong build, defensive versatility, shooting stroke and toughness. Smith plays with the confidence of a senior despite being a member of the class of 2026 and doesn’t mind asserting himself on the offensive end when his team needs a bucket. Recruitment: Smith holds offers from programs such as Syracuse, Providence, Maryland and Kansas State. He’s already taken unofficial visits to Villanova and Georgetown, from which he also holds offers. His recruitment is expected to get more crowded in the coming year." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/cassidy-awards-city-of-palms-classic-6

Lutey writes that Smith’s “dream offers” include the Blue Devils, Kansas and Houston – three heavyweight units in collegiate hoops. That would prove a critical development if the Orange coaching staff hopes to prevail for Smith, although his recruiting process likely has a long way to go. The 6-foot-3 guard has become a lot more comfortable on the ball, getting downhill and making a play. He is a physical presence and an explosive athlete. The sophomore finished with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals." www.on3.com/news/hoop-hall-classic-day-5-top-performers/

Cloer is a kid I've heard great things about. Potentially 5 star cause of his leaping ability.

"Sebastian Wilkins can vividly recall watching elite high school stars like Sharife Cooper, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Jaden Ivey lace ‘em up at the Hoophall Classic on television, daydreaming about being in that position in the coming years. “Being from Massachusetts, the Hoophall is a really big deal,” Wilkins said. “This is the one everybody wants to play in, so to be able to have the chance to play in it was big for me.”... West Virginia, Rutgers, Providence and UMass have already extended offers while St. John’s, Georgetown, Virginia and Texas A&M have all expressed interest." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/four-star-sophomore-sebastian-wilkins-developing-on-all-levels

It's hard to believe that we could actually be a top recruit's dream school given the nightmare we have been living in recent years, but hope it's true.

His development this season and his versatility at 6-foot-8 should translate into ascension in the Rivals150 and ultimately earn him even more offers. West Virginia, Rutgers, Providence, UMass, St. John’s, Georgetown, Virginia and Texas A&M are all involved. Wilkins has had multiple 20-point games for Brewster in the Nike EYBL Scholastic this season and with a productive summer the No. 38 prospect could potentially make a move." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals-roundtable-reclassification-odds-rising-coaches-juwan-howard
