2012-2016 was very nice This season is about to get exciting with the incoming call ups of Rutschman, Rodriguez, Hall, etc. Add them to Mullins, Santander, Mountcastle (when he returns) and Hays and the O's are looking to be in MUCH better shape moving forward. Light at the end of the tunnel. Having said that, the moving back/heightening of the left field wall isn't going to help much on the free agent market for righty power bats but it'll definitely help in attracting pitchers. I didn’t like it when it was announced and a month and a half into the season I hate it. Would have understood moving it 10 or maybe 15 feet back but to move it 30 feet back and raise it?? Not a fan of messing with the look of a great ballpark that much. The proper solution was to simply pitch better.

Yaboy is terrible alright... a terrible loss for the board. Wow. He supplied LOTS of GOOD info. I'd welcome him back with open arms. Think everyone agrees with you. TC was jokingly referring to himself as the "terrible poster" when it was inaccurately noted that he left. Off-season is usually brutal around here. Off-season coming off 0-20? Hell on earth, apparently. There aren't many posters who are happy that Ewing is still around (ironically one of those posters is the main reason why the multiple post limit was put in place). But the constant repetitive negative posting has become just too much. We get it, people aren't happy. But a select few are hammering that home to the point of making this place unreadable. Probably the main reason why YaBoy left (and a nice job of one poster playing a part by being a 5 year old). Yaboy’s last post explains it best, his decision had nothing to do with “repetitive or negative” posting. I agree with his thoughts on the subject and I hope he returns at some point because he knows his stuff… Well guys since the mods don't want to answer my question, I'm out. I don't really see the point of being on a message board where people discussing opposing views in an adult manner is not tolerated if it exceeds a certain amount of posts. It's been fun engaging with you guys and I wish you all the best. Take care.

IMO, they shouldn't have changed a thing. It was beautifully done from the start. I went to a bunch of O's games in college just because it was such a great experience from start to finish. Mind you, that was when the O's were really good and I hated them.

End this thread. Start a new one maybe. I have no problem going off on tangents, but this is past that. If you all are good with it, go for it, but I don't want to look for discussion about Current Roster and get this. Maybe people said all there was to say and we arrived here, I don't know. Maybe we can pick it up during te summer when the portal traffic is gone, and we know for sure what the roster will be.

C'mon fellas. We really need to be nicer to each other. We are among the few remaining people on the planet that still care about Georgetown basketball and the circle gets smaller every week. If we had lives, we wouldn't spend any time on this website. As I was saying....We ended up losing a quality poster. Gotta be nice, guys

Great post RB....I also agree that whining and complaining about things that aren't changing between now and at earliest January is pointless. It would be so nice if true GTown fans acted like....I don't know, true GTown fans. Not Ewing haters. If you are advocating for more respectful dialogue then avoid using words like "Ewing haters." If I need to explain why that is inflammatory and inaccurate with respect to most of the unhappy posters here I will. bigsky I don't know where you fall in this debate but there most definitely are Ewing Haters on this site. There are posters that respond to ever post with something negative about our HC. Someone could text that the team was seen eating at a local restaurant and they will respond with something negative about Ewing. I will call them what they are......I wasn't talking about you but if the shoe fits.

One of the last quality posters on this board is out because of a ridiculous rule meant to stifle debate and conversation for a… wait for it…. message board. Great work mods. If you don’t like certain posters that post too much, just remove those specific posters privileges if it’s over the top. Why subject the rest of us to arbitrary restrictions when for once folks want to actually discuss issues of substance to the program? It’s all just so very Georgetown *sigh*

The rest of us love Ewing the player and hope he succeeds as a coach, but have serious doubts that will happen based on a very poor track record to date. There is no hate, capisce?

Change the "70s" in Mike Watt's song to the 80s and 1984, and you have the Georgetown Basketball experience.
No one should need to qualify a criticism of Patrick Ewing with feelings about him as a player - a lot of us don't have any feelings about him as a player.

I don't know who else on this Board allows you to speak for them but I will decline. Since you are one of the "three", I am not surprised you have no feelings for Ewing, the player. I am surprised that you continue to follow the team.

As noted above, this thread is off-topic. A new one can follow when a roster is confirmed.
